This is my usual optometrist, however it has recently had a bit of a make over and a new female optometrist has joined the team. The shop is nicely fitted out with a large range of glasses. The receptionists on this night were both quite friendly and one apologised for me having to wait so long. The optometrist was also friendly and explained everything she was doing. She offered some trial contact lenses but I was disappointed when they didn't have any of my prescription in stock.

I often eat here and always have a good meal. THeir pizza has a nice thin crust and the toppings are always tasty. I usually have the spinach pizza which has sundried tomato and fetta cheese, or sometimes the pumpkin pizza - both are very good. Great for vegetarians. I think they need to buy some new wine glasses though (a bit old 80's style, cheap looking). The guy that served us (Ben) was very friendly and served us quickly, making suggestion on side dishes (although he didn't seem too rapt that we swapped tables but I guess we potentially could have confused the waitress). Anyway, overall very good.

The service was very good, the bar tender was very friendly and served us quickly and efficiently. The food took a very long time to arrive though, considering that the bar had less than 10 customers. The serving sizes left a lot to be desired. We were all still hungry after our main meals. I had gnocchi which was $16.90 for a very small serve - too heavy handed on the vinegar though so I didnt enjoy it. The others had the chicken $19.90 which was also very small, although they did enjoy the taste. I would use them again but only because it is close to home and we do like the sideshow/carnival style decor.

Approximate cost: $20

I have two cats and we visit this surgery for annual checkups vaccinations etc. The staff are very helpful and friendly and are always willing to spend time with me discussing my pets needs.

Beautiful facials. Very relaxing environment. You are in your own room snuggled up under a warm quilt. Much nicer than just having a towel on you. Very friendly staff, one of them is a good friend of mine and she gives great facial massages. My skin always feels calm and hydrated after a treatment.

Serves breakfast and lunch. We decided on the breakfast because we thought that $30 main plus $10 sides were a bit too expensive for lunch (although the 'taste' ($16) twice cooked goat curd and pesto soufflé with apple and witlof salad had been recommended by a friend). The bacon, free range eggs, mushrooms, roasted tomatoes and potato hash served with toast $17 (still quite expensive for breakfast) was very tasty using obviously fresh ingredients. The smoked salmon with scrambled egg, on toasted housemade muffin, was particularly tasty. The service was great. Very friendly.

Approximate cost: $30 lunch main + $8-12 sides

One of the best Italian Restaurants Ive been to. The food is top quality. This is real Italian food cooked with love. I had the risotto with truffles - yum. Others had the lamb and veal both cooked just right. The share antipasto plate had a great range of tastes - all very tasty and fresh. We all enjoyed the cozy environment. Our table was next to the open fire which was great considering it was a cold winters night. Service was fantastic with the waiter offering suggestions - he knew his stuff. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for high quality Italian food.

Approximate cost: $30 per main meal

We ordered breakfast. Eggs florentine was very nice, although the hollandaise was a touch too vinegary. The full breakfast was great but could have had a few more mushrooms. The quality was excellent though. The service was good, but other tables that arrived and ordered later than us got their coffees before us. Coffee was good. Very small indoor area but they have a nice courtyard area which is lovely on a sunny day. Daily newspapers are on tables to read while you wait

Approximate cost: $14 per main meal
