We went shopping for Christmas gifts and we were pleased to find a huge variety of chocolates and sweets in lovely festive wrapping for an affordable price. They stock a huge range of items, one example being homeware. Their homeware is good quality with a reasonable price.

Their staff are friendly and helpful with inquiries and returns of items, although sometimes the lines may be a little long.

I love shopping here! The prices are a bit high though.
The staff are very helpful (in the makeup section) and they were very kind to me and taught me about the product I was asking about.

This review is for Chatswood Barbeque Kitchen, Chatswood NSW

My family usually frequents this shop for their duck, barbeque pork, char siu and chicken takeaway. We like it because the food is very good quality and also the service is quick so we just duck in when shopping, buy a dish and serve it when we get home.

The place is always filled with people and sometimes you need to wait till you get your seat but the wait is totally worth it because the food is at a reasonable price, is quick and is delicious!

The staff are friendly and serve you with a smile and a positive attitude.

This review is for Borders, Chatswood NSW

This Borders is easily the best bookstore in Chatswood. It spans two floors and is spacious, comfortable and a nice to place to visit when you're bored. They have a nice collection of manga which is handy when you don't have the time to visit Kinokuniya in the city. They have lots of quirky stationary to buy as well.

The staff are friendly and helpful and didn't mind too much even when I made an bothersome inquiry about an item, was about to order it and then I decided not to. After all that fuss! They just accepted it gracefully and continued with their job!

This review is for JB Hi-Fi, Chatswood NSW

The prices are always good at JB hifi, especially with frequent sales! The store is a bit cramped, however so maybe they need to improve on their store layout, especially since there is busy traffic in the store.

They also need to hire more staff as the checkout lines are extremely long and it takes forever for your turn. The staff I have encountered have been quite helpful though, and guided me to the section+products I was asking for.

This review is for Bunnings Warehouse, Auburn NSW

My dad and I went back and forth to this bunnings to buy supplies for when we were cleaning + touching up our house. We asked a member of staff for which hammers he recommended and he gave us a long and interesting talk about the use of hammers and how we should judge which one to buy.

Over the times we visited, we requested help from a range of staff and they all worked very hard to help us find that tricky item. There was a whole team of them who were looking for what we asked about and we all cheered when one of them found it at last!

The items are at a reasonable price and they have a massive range of products. I could spend days in there and still not be done! Bunnings is the best!

There is a wide range of clothing at this store, especially for young women which was good. It's good for the basic pieces of clothing you need for your wardrobe (denim shorts, singlets etc) as well as some nice pieces but it does feel a bit cheap. Other than the basics being at a good price and quality, everything else is average.

Some household goods can be bought here at a good price and quality as well as food. There was only one staff at the change rooms which was a bit slow but that wasn't too bad either.

This review is for Hello Happy, Chatswood NSW

When Hello Happy first opened I was dying to try it out because people kept telling me about it and the store looked so cute! I went inside and saw that they had quite the range of baked goods and I bought a danish which is quite pricey but tasted superb!

Their cakes were very small and very expensive for their size but since I didn't think it was worth it, I can't judge their taste. They looked very delicious and unique however.

This review is for Easyway, Chatswood NSW

As usual, all easyways are not really value for money but hey, everyone drinks it anyway!
The interaction with the staff is business as usual, they smile, ask for what you want and that's it. I like this outlet of easyway because of their comfortable seating area. Once me and a friend just sat there for ages after our easyways and they didn't even shoo us.

This review is for Breadtop, Chatswood NSW

verified email - 12 Feb 2011

I love breadtop because they have really cute food that generally tastes really nice! They had a wide range of baked goods and the store is clean and pleasing to the eye. It's a bit of a squeeze inside when there are a few customers in the store, and there is only one table+two chairs for you to sit on.

They have a small range of cakes which are quite nice to look at but from experience, we didn't enjoy the taste too much. Looks better than it tastes but it isn't too bad.

The staff are acceptably friendly, bagging your foods and the general exchange. Nothing too good or bad about that, since there isn't much interaction between the staff-customers over than at the cashier.
