I love this cafe. The coffee is lovely and the biscuits are devine.
The staff always have a smile on their face. It can get very busy though.

My husband wanted to try this place. We ordered our coffees and our food at the same time including a slice. Our slice came out first by the time we had finished that we were still waiting for our coffee it came out 5 Minutes later after finishing our slice we then was waiting for the food for 30 Minutes that is not acceptable at all. Our children were waiting quitely. By the time it came the children were not interested in eating it as they started eating food i brought with me.
They need better time managment skills.

This cafe is awesome. I love the cake,biscuits and slices. The coffee doesn't taste to bad either. I try alot of cafe's until i find the one that makes a perfect coffee and these guys do. I also wish it was more child friendly.. The customer service is fantastic.

We were having a BBQ for dinner with our family and decided we needed bulk meat a family member who lives down on the Peninsula recommended we try these guys so we did the meat was lovely on the BBQ. The price was great and the staff was very friendly. We will use this butcher next time we are down.

When we went down to Rye for a holiday and to see family we decided that night we wanted some spaghetti bolognese for dinner. We went here to get some Mince and it was lovely. I couldn't believe how nice it tasted. The pricing was a little dear at about $14 a KG but it was well worth the price. I will be going here again next time we are down their for a holiday! Customer service always was fantastic.

we use to buy from here when i use to do my shopping at coles next door. we use to buy the mega packs with all different types of meats. There was some meat i wouldnt eat in the pack and cook up and give to our dog to which he would enjoy. The staff always seemed polite and took their time to explain there new meat products they have. There was one time i had a crying newborn baby with me and the lady said go sit down and feed bub and ill bring your meat over to you so you dont get stressed out. She threw in an extra kilo of mince and told me not to worry about the difference because it was her pleasure to help.

we have been here a number of times and have been suprised each time with the quality of the meat. We have had some good cuts and others not so good. The price is reasonable and they seem very friendly. Only problem with This store is you cant choose your meat so it is pre-packed which is a shame if you only need an extra 100grams.

We tried here once and not sure if i would go back. The meat was a little chewy but the staff seemed nice. It seems to get pretty busy in summer when everyone is having their BBQ's and best to only go early morning. A another reason im not sure if we would go back is we do a shopping on a moday these guys are only open on wednesday, Thursday and friday.
I would only recommend this place to someone who has time to go here a the end of the week.

When we first moved to Ballarat. The first thing my husbands co-worker said to him was that you must try John Harbour Quality Butcher. They placed a bet that my husband would infact be over the moon with the quality of the meat. Well his co-worker was right. Since moving back to Melbourne my husband can not find the " Perfect" Butcher like John Harbour. The meat was fantastic and they always came out juicy and tender.
Highly recommend. What a fantastic Butcher.
