The service was truly exceptional - the same waiter came and saw us to our seats, asked how our meal was and generally checked if we were ok. I was very impressed with the attention to detail and the romantic, dark decor and mood. The food was generously portioned and well presented in metal dishes.

The burgers here are freshly made and stacked, although I'm not a fan of the bread they use as it's too spongy. Their cheesy fries are also delicious as are their milkshakes. The price is on the higher side but you pay for quality. The service is helpful and attentive.

This is a fast Chinese food outlet. The prices are cheap (less than $8 for a large meal) but this place really packs in the rice to look like a filler. There's a fair amount of meat etc, but lots of rice underneath. The service is impersonal, the food is average but it can fill you up.

This place is fantastic- it looks far more expensive than it actually is. There are some very interesting desserts such as dark sticky rice and the mains were delicious when we went. The prices aren't the cheapest but don't shock you and are very reasonable given the food provided. The atmosphere and decor are wonderful - very authentic.

The usual service station + mechanic combination. Our car has been here a few times - it sometimes takes a while until your car gets looked at and the place is very busy. But we have had moments of really good service - staff being particularly helpful etc. However we have had some very long waits here in the past.

I went here for my formal hair done and the hairdresser was very understanding and took care to do my hair just right for my special occasion - it was secured full of bobby pins and looked wonderful on the night. They are very busy whenever I walk past, so make sure you make an appointment.

The hairdresser was kind and consulted me regarding what style I wanted. She also took the time to say hello to my mum who was waiting with me. This store though does not take appointments (you just walk in) and it was very busy the day I went, so make sure you leave yourself plenty of time. The price is set and there's not many fancy extras - just a good, decent haircut place.

I went to the restaurant section for my birthday and the food was absolutely fantastic - we ordered chicken and fish and both came out tender and fresh. The service was great - being called 'sir' and 'ma'am' was certainly a bonus. The lighting was dim and the view of the river was pretty - however it gets quite noisy with the pub next door.

The pizzas here are fantastic - real pizzas, not just the generic stuff chain stores pump out. The flavours are unique and the ingredients are individual. They also do a fantastic Italian Hot chocolate and it's so cheap for everyone, especially students. Service however is a bit impersonal because it is so busy.

The vet and staff were kind and showed empathy. Our cat had his dental treatment here a few years back - the vet explained the procedure carefully and was finished when he said he would be. Also his clinic did it alot cheaper than the clinic we usually went to but our cat was still taken care of very well.
