This review is for Apple Store, Sydney NSW

I upgraded the latest iOS software to my phone which caused my iPhone 4S to not turn on, brought it to Apple where they said it was an easy fix. The staff at the genius bar assign you and give you estimated waiting times etc and are very lovely. It turned out my phone would not turn on, and they refused to try anything else and tried to sell a refurbished phone on me telling me it was new. I was unhappy with the uncaring attitude and trying to force me to pay $300 for a phone which isn't new. I am bitter about that but I can't fault the staff who greeted me, or the staff who issued me a refund on the refurbished phone when I realised it wasn't new, who was very lovely and apologetic for the 20 minute wait. In short I'll try my best not to come back here but it is nice to know that the Genius bar staff are friendly and know their stuff, even if they don't exactly go the extra mile.

Fantastic rooftop views of the beach and has a great atmosphere at night. Came here with a group of friends and had the beer taster (middi sized glasses with 5 types of beers) which was amazing! The staff were fun and I am definitely keen to come back next time I am in Manly.

A great pub facing the iconic Manly beach, the staff are friendly and there is ample seating both indoors and outdoors. Worth it for the view alone.

Large pub with decent cheap food ($18 for a steak), it has three levels, the top one is a nightclub with a lot of tables and chairs in the outdoor section which is always a plus. Would definitely recommend for an event or a quiet lunch with friends.

This review is for Cockatoo Island Bar, Sydney NSW

A bar in the middle of Cockatoo Island (about 2 ferry stops out of Darling Harbour), it is a fun and funky bar that my partner and I stopped at for a beer and lunch. The security here is very strict and checks ID and bags so be prepared to line up. However they do direct you to a spot to sit. The bar is covered in umbrellas, deck and sun chairs and is very vibrant. Food and drink is expensive ($10 for a Corona) but there was a lot of groups when we were there so sharing with friends would be fantastic. Overall a nice place to visit for something different and has amazing views of the water.

Played bowls here with a big group of friends and had lunch and dinner here. The staff were amazing! So nice and friendly. Lunch was fantastic (calamari and chips) but I was disappointed in my steak and wish I'd ordered something else on the menu. Overall a decent little club and one I'd be happy to come back to.

Definitely one of the best sports clubs I've ever been to. My boyfriend and I stopped in for a drink before a wedding we were attending in the area, and both commented on how much it looked like some of the Las Vegas casino bars (which are decadent and amazing). The service was fantastic from the staff who were friendly and chatty, overall a great experience.

I travelled to Brisbane for work recently and came to this place for breakfast every morning, the service was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble and the server always had a smile on their face which was a great start to the morning. The food is cheap but delicious, particularly the muesli and yoghurt cups which were my favourite. Would love to come back next time I am in Brisbane.

A fantastic café in the outdoors section of the MLC Centre by Martin Place, the food is cheap but tasty. I came here with 2 girlfriends and had pizza, they had salad and spaghetti respectively. The food came out at a reasonable time and the staff are always lovely. Highly recommend for a casual lunch, especially on a nice day as they have ample umbrellas to shade you.

This review is for La Rosa Bar & Pizza, Sydney NSW

A beautiful pizza bar at the top level of the Strand Arcade in the middle of town. A cosy and intimate setting, I purchased pizza (which it is famous for) and the rest of my group got various pastas and lasagne. The food was an amazing quality and the price very reasonable. The only drawback was the service was a little slow, my meal came at least 7 minutes after everyone else at the table and it took a long time to catch someone's eye for drinks and the bill. The staff were lovely though so I think they were just busy. Highly recommend for a date or a family lunch/dinner
