Happened to visit Sambal for lunch on a late Sunday afternoon. It was quite packed for lunch at that time, which gave me a good vibe to start with. We ordered the basics, Mee Goreng, Nasi Goreng and Char Kway Teao. I must say that I was absolutely thrilled with all the 3. My wife was not too thrilled with the Mee Goreng. Anybody with a slight interest in Malay food should definitely give this a shot. Its tucked up all the up in North Ryde, which might be a bit of a ride. But hey, there is public transport - Macquarie Park station right next door.
