This lovely lady who works from home does fantastic lashes. I have had others since and realize that her extensions are better than I've seen on most people and I was a fool not to go back to her. She does a beautiful job.

When we arrived i was dubious. I was able to look straight into the dirty old store room with old chairs and kitchen appliances worn past their time. It's February and the Christmas Lights were still out front. We were greeted by the waiter who was nice, and directed to a table. The decor was worn and tacky and the music left something to be desired. Had the food been great I would never have noticed so many undesirables. We ordered the 'famous' seafood platter for two, which was valued at $86 and were presented with a ugly looking collection of shells with various seafood in them, and two hanging skewers with garlic prawns on one and bugs on the other. The bugs looked like they'd been hung out to dry for a week, they were brown and the flesh was all shrunken and dry, the prawns were old frozen tasteless morsels that we chewy and the 'chilli' prawns were not hot and basically some of the same prawns as above with a can of tomatoes poured over the top. The calamari, fish, and chips were all deep fried in nasty old oil and soggy. What a gross experience. The desert was ok as it was the day after valentines so they had some decent leftovers. Don't go. They are hanging on by a thread and it's time to let go and find another business.

If you are going camping, fishing, drinking and 4WDing with the boys, then this is the place for you. Very basic on site vans and park homes (one was of decent quality) and clean amenities, with good hot barbies. I can't complain about the owners or the cleanliness of the Ablutions because they were fine, but the vans were simple to say the least. Its not "right on the beach" as it appears in the map and there is certainly no where for the kids. If you are a family with kids younger than 5 don't go. It has beach tracks where you might find fish but before you commit to a holiday here - ring and make sure the wind is not HORRENDOUS and the weed has been staying AWAY! We won't go again. But if you have no kids and a bunch of blokes with 4WD's then go right ahead - you won't be disappointed.

Gees, the few times I've been here, it took FOREVER to be noticed, and I tried more than once as I knew they were new and might need a bit of work to settle in. One time we (two adults, two kids) sat down and were told someone would take the order (there were about 6 other people in the Cafe) and 20 minutes later I had to go to the kitchen to ask if the ditzy waitresses do table service? Finally we got served. It took a total of 45 minutes to get two coffees, toasted sanga, and two eggs bennies, when there was NO ONE THERE! I only ordered coffee on busy days because I couldn't even be bothered with the other. They also take forever to clear your table.

What a gorgeous, freindly, roomy, good value cafe, with windows for watching the world. I had a lovely Latte, Baby Cino (for small fry) and a fresh hot BIG muffin (spinach, feta, tomato) for $10 - and there was NO MINIMUM Eftpos (thankyou). Bless this place. I'll go again and again.

What fantastic service, skilled at making GREAT eyebrows (not just claiming to and then giving you boring ROUND ones), attentive, my mini pedi lasted 4 days at a festival and my feet still look lovely. Love them. Will use them always.

What a great shop, I often walk out of there with a box full of delicious fruit and veg for around $40 - the deli is fantastic and they always have some crazy bargain in the dairy (this week it was Triple Cream Brie for $2.95). I also bought 10 slices of free range bacon for $5.88 - which is also a bargain. It has a fantastic butcher next door and close to the cafe's - one of my favourite trips of the week is to Wray Avenue.

We eat there all the time - it is an old funky restaurant but the food is genuine and delicious, the people are delightful, and the value is awesome.

We stayed there for Christmas Eve. The minute we got there my crawling daughter ventured onto the verandah and came in looking like she'd been in a coal mine. We had room service for dinner and the vege was over cooked and the carrot slices were so big and tough I thought I was in a two star diner, the burger was in the same category. The pool was beautiful and we did spend a nice day laying around and swimming. Overall as a local there is no way I would stay there again nor would I recommend my friends stay there.

I love the coffee here and the home made pastries are delicious, however the atmosphere can be a little too relaxed and casual as far as service goes. One day a staff member sat next to me on the couch and had his lunch break when it was quite busy and there were messy tables around me. I like Wild Poppy but I think it has room for improvement.
