Love this place, its every bit the Hofbrauhaus as it is in Germany. All the staff dress up and the beers can be those 1 litre steins if you want and all the german drinking classics playing in the background. Great menu and it brings me back to Oktoberfest in germany all over again, be sure to head there around late Sep and early Oct for the true party atmosphere.

Great place for a catch up with heaps of friends before a night out, thats if you dont over eat and need a nap. This place is a buffet all you can eat but a nicer place than you think these places to be. Very nice selection of different foods and also a fresh cooked to order noodle station which is great. On entry you get either a plate of fresh prawns or half dozen oysters which are both great. There is a roast meat on sundays and a massive selection of desserts from all around the world. Didnt like the line up the first time we went, it was about an hour wait for a table so the second time we went got there when it opened and had a great time without a wait. Drinks arent included but you can buy jugs of soft drink etc for you tables.

loved this place for a romantic dinner, lovely view overlooking the river, really nice place for a special dinner or a quiet palce to chat over good food. Heard reviews about the risotto as a few have said on here and it was fantasic, had the pumpkin one, forget the name but was delish. Service was a bit lacking in the way that she looked like she had worked there for years and over her job or something, not a good way to earn a tip. Really liked this place and would go back just hope next time we get a happier waiter.

Approximate cost: $28-35

Went here last year for a dinner with a few others and have to say was a fun night but the food and service were so so. The restaurant itself was great, classic old school diner thats for sure, makes you want to go to the states, bit of fun with the jukebox at the table, it was fun. Now for dinner my partner and I got the wet fries and i guess i should of known what i was in for there, as they weren't fries with a bit of gravy they were drowning in it and along with the cheese, this was ok for a few bites but gets a bit much. The burger was great, big and tasty, my partner had a hot dog but the bun was pretty dry and the dog itself wasnt much. A fun night out with friends or family but dont expect heaps from the quality of food.

Approximate cost: $15-20

Went here in teh first few weeks of them opening so hopefully the have perfected the bruger as the one i got the bun was a little burnt which ruined most of the burger for me. The burger patty was tasty and with fresh avocado and tomato it would of been a winner. Staff seemed nice though as i was the only one in there i thought they would of made me feel more welcome. Will go back again to try some of the other burgers, also pretty resonable prices as well.

Went to this place after a few years elsewhere in Melbourne CBD after a recommendation and was pleasantly surprised. I was in need of a trim and rang up during the day and they were happy to fit me in. Greeted with a smiling face and offered a beverage after a very nice wash of the hair and head rub. Happy to have a chat as most hairdressers are but also these guys knew when to just cut my hair and not chew my ear off, it was a pleasant change. Great service even though the hair cut was expensive, for the CBD a good price for the service and quality.

Approximate cost: $guys $50

As one of these reviews said its not the place for a business lunch or a quiet place for a meal, gets very busy, cramped and noisy. In saying that the food is great, there is sometimes a bit of a wait firstly for a table then the food around peak times but great tasting dumplings and cheap as well. Serves are fairly big which is good, i would reccomend this place with a bunch of work mates for a lunch or afterwork drinks and a group of your mates before hitting the town.

This review is for The Rooftop Bar, Melbourne VIC

Wouldn't know it was there unless you had heard about it, this bar sits on top of a seven story building right in the heart of melbourne. With views over the skyline of melbourne this bar is a winner. Heaps of area to lounge about and catch up with friends. It has a funky dj booth pumping music and a bar up there...turns into a rooftop cinema some nights of the week during summer as well. Bit of a hike up the stairs as most of the time the lift is turned off or heaps of people waiting for it.

Played over here a few times and its a great course, no need to worry about traffic or houses if you slice the ball as your on an island with only the golf course and army bases which is blocked off. Short front nine and longer back nine, have to check in with a security gate before heading over to the island. Buggys for hire, never done it but guess you would need to book in advance...also great spot for a beer and chips in the clubhouse after.

Have been here a few times over the years, it have a nice beer garden out the back with a sandpit for the kids. Nice food and loads of seating. Would rate these guys higher if it weren't for the owner there who is quite rude when there is a problem with anything.
