They also have a stall which connects to the supermarket. From here you can get good quality and value milkshakes at $3 each and all interesting flavours.

Their food is pretty good but last time I went I was a little surprised that it was that expensive. So we ended up with Pizza, which wasn't bad, but not memorable.

Fairly priced, quality of food is good. Quantities not very large but decent for the price.

We ordered two dishes, #4 (can't remember name) and #5 (combination rice). We both didn't like 5, and had a meat that was unrecognisable and not nice. By contrast #4 was quite good and highly recommended.
Plus, I think this place sells spring rolls for a dollar, which is quite generous.

The belgium waffles were really, really yum!
However the milkshakes which are pretty expensive are just so-so. In particular, I chose the mars bar milkshake which costs the most, and left half behind.
The shop is interesting, but be ware the prices aren't cheap (which is fair enough for the location).

I had been driving past this place for years, not ever taking notice. On the outside it is a run down building ... but inside ...
it is a real gem!!

Fortunately for me (and my gf) a couple of good friends took us here. I am still so impressed a few weeks later and am planning on going back tonight.

We bought one dish for the 4 of us call 7 beef dishes. Which is as the name suggests 7 dishes of beef. This my friends told me is the signature dish of the restaurant. Anyways, we only got to 6.5 dishes. Oh, and don't worry there are plenty of vegetables with the beef.
Really it is a 3 course meal for 4 ppl:
- 1st meal is a delicious salad with beef
- Main meal (composing of 5 beef dishes) you cook yourself on your own table with a little gas cooker, you wrap the meats up in rice paper and make awesome cold rolls (like spring rolls).
- Final course can you get up to it, is a very yummy beef soup.

Also have to mention they have exoctic smoothies which are real blended fruit for $4 each (I bought 3 with my gf) I remember mango, avocado, lychee, durian, ...

The main reason I would warn everyone to stay away is because the people who own the shop (a couple) are extremely rude (both to customers and staff). I think this shows they have no business sense because they should always treat the customer as No. 1.

I have been to the shop a few times because of the convenience (but won't anymore). It is obvious that the bosses don't respect their workers, they are demanding, rude, and shout commands in Chinese to them in front of you. On one occasion I saw the bosses shout at one female customer who wasn't satisfied with their service!

Wasn't very pleased by the business.
Most unsatisfied by their chips. It was the first time in my life I've bought chips from a fast food place and didn't finish it!!
I have eaten some pretty bad chips before but these were extremely poor.
They were covered in so much salt, that I had to brush each one I ate. By the time I had ate half (which is where I'd given up) the tray was full of salt and my black pants now white!!!
Not to mention, they were soft and soggy.

The other food wasn't bad, a little bit more expensive compared to other fast food joints, but you probably get more and better quality meat.

The restaurant is nice with great food, but it is a bit pricey.
My girlfriend and I were particularly shocked because we decided to buy the banquet which is the menu is confusingly put down as $35 for two people. Actually, the banquet is to serve two people but you pay separately. They really should have wrote per person after the price.

Other than that unpleasant surprise, I would actually recommend the restaurant. You can look at the menu online and decide if it is too pricey. But if you are looking for a nicer restaurant this is a good place to go.

I am actually a fan of the cafe primo businesses!!
It is a very big shame that the Mawson Lakes one doesn't live up to the standards. And it is really only the fault of probably one or two staff members.

My experience:
Took my girlfriend for a late dinner there. Ordered. Pretty much no one else was there. They will close soon (I think it was around 9). Everyone else left. We were waiting for over half an hour for our food. Eventually I thought this was ridiculous, nobody else how can they take so long. So I asked. Turns out they simply forgot us. They gave us the dish for free but my girlfriend was so angry she refused to eat it.

I was prepared to let it go as a once off. However, since then, I have heard from two friends that they have had the same experience there (on seperate occasions) and I doubt very many of my friends have been there.

I am surprised to see this place only has positive reviews. My own experience was the owner(?) looked and sound and acted very dodgy. I rang up and asked to bring a b'day cake and reserve 3 for 3 ppl. He said I'll need to pay $10 fee for bringing the cake. When I questioned it, he said don't worry. Later when I came in and paid for my food I used a $50 note and he gave me $10 less change. When I questioned this he gave a sly smile and said "I thought so" and gave me my $10.
I felt pretty unsafe, doubted perhaps that the guy spat in my food or worse.

Aside from this the restaurant was well presented and the food was good quality but not really above average.
