I got a building inspection done with Andrew, who does all over Adelaide. I was genuinely very impressed with his depth of knowledge in everything regarding building.

Andrew was good enough to tolerate me watching the entire inspection. He did a very thorough job and found so many things I would have never found! He took almost 2 hours to do the full inspection and sent me the report the same day. The report came to 36 pages, included heaps of pictures and was easy to read. Still, I gave him a call to clarify a few things and he patiently explained all my questions.

I was trying to skimp on costs as much as possible and reluctant to even pay a building inspection. Before the inspection I thought I bought the property at a very good price. After the inspection I now think it is $30,000-$40,000 overpriced!! And I'm going to negotiate this down. Imagine trying to save ~$400 for the building inspection and then paying $40,000 too much!! How stupid!

Disclaimer: this is my first inspection so I can't compare.
Nonetheless, I highly recommend Andrew after my experience and I never will compare as I will call him back every time.

Approximate cost: $420

I bought an ouffer voucher and it was expired by one day when I tried to redeem it. I noted that the prices are very reasonable here without any voucher too.
The owner, a young bubbly korean girl, was very kind to let me still redeem it.
The food was very, very good.
Had miso soup, good range of their delicious sushi and beef & chicken bibimbap.
The sushi was the standout for me - best I've ever tried (and my girlfriend can make sushi pretty good - worked at a few sushi bars)

Saw GPs about my problem (plantar warts) they were totally useless. They didn't know what it was and told me the wrong thing.

Monique knew immediately, and she gave me options on the treatment.
I am not very comfortable with anything medical. Monique was completely respectful and worked around this.

More than this Monique was very friendly and kept me distracted by interesting conversation while I was being treated.

Highly recommend her. I gave a 4 star for value since it did start to add up a bit because I have no health insurance. I think the cost was around $60 per treatment which seems quite reasonable for a specialist.

Can't believe no one has reviewed these guys before!
I normally don't enjoy Asian restaurants a lot but this one is an exception. Also, my girlfriend, who is Chinese loved it too, so it hasn't been overly westernised that people of Asian culture won't enjoy it.

Servings were generous - we took a large amount of one of our dishes back in a container. We both had entrees. Spring rolls and soup. For my mains I just had combination noodles which was delicious. Can't remember my partner's dish, but everything was really nice.

Highly recommended!

For a long time now I've been thinking the $10 per head I spend on a quick meal at the fast food joints Hungry Jacks/Macca's must actually be able to buy decent food somewhere else. Food that isn't at the mercy of teens - sometimes those places can be really bad.

Was actually on my way to McDonald's and hesistantly decided to give this a shot instead. So glad I did!! This place is the fast food solution I was looking for!

For $10 I had a chicken snitzel pack which included one of the best chicken snitzel's I've had in a long time with herbs and spices and kindly cut up into bite sized pieces. PLUS chips, peas, carrots and gravy. For $10! I know I said it already twice but it was only $10.

My partner got a steak sandwich for $8 with the lot - packed full with lettuce, beef, egg, bacon. Quite a generous size and very nice.

And the service... no they are not teens.

I am reviewing only the car service part.

I never been to a dealer before because I know they are expensive. But I decided to give this one a go since my car is new enough to still have the fixed price servicing.
But let me tell you fixed price servicing holds no meaning in this place!!
My fixed price servicing was supposed to be something like $300 at most (I can't remember now) but I had to pay no less than $1200! All they did besides a very basic service was windscreen wipers and brake pads/disk rotors.

Not to mention I told these people of some known problems - fuzzy speakers and a belt noise. They didn't help with either. With the belt noise their advice was to handle one problem at a time, with the speakers their advice was that their time to find the problem would be too expensive to be worth it (which is true).

A couple months later went back here twice for them to find a problem in my transmission (the in-built computer says their is a problem and you can definitely feel it). They charged $200 to do no more than also say their is a problem in the transmission. They estimated repairs at $4200 and 1-2 weeks labour. But I didn't let them fix it I took my business elsewhere (MV automatics and they were fantastic). Got it done

I drove 1 - 1.5 hours each way to get to these guys and it was totally worth it.

Jervis Ford Hillcrest said it'll cost me around $4000 to fix up and they'll need my car for 1-2 weeks. In fact they weren't even going to do the work themselves. They'll charge $1800 to remove and replace the transmission and send it off to someone else. Then the other company will charge me whatever they wanted on top.

Michael from MV automatics treated me very well. He explained everything as soon as he realised the problem. He provided me with a hire car at no cost to me.
He rang me up early to say that he expects it won't cost me more than $1500, and in the end he only charged $1140.
He did the entire job in just two days!

Very happy customer - highly recommend this place.

Run by a family inside of a community hall. The family are all very nice and were very busy. The servings are large (although the meat portion was relatively small compared to everything else.

Don't expect 5 star food here - it is fatty fast kind of food. Speaking of fast their service was very quick, they worked really hard to bring out everyone's dishes ASAP.

They have coffee/tea which you can help yourself to for a dollar (and clean your cup after).

I'm surprised all of the feedback on womo is so positive other sites have plenty of negative reviews.
I think it comes down to if you like the buffet experience.
I enjoy the smorgasboard experience, I think it's a lot more than going to a normal restaurant (at least for a change). It is very interesting to try bits of everything. Anyway more specifically about this restaurant:

The furniture and setting is dated (not changed at all since I went 10 years ago). However it does give the restaurant charm and didn't bother me.

It doesn't look like there is a huge variety of things to choose from (and wouldn't be very interesting if you went weekly), but for a once off visit there was still enough variety that both mine and my girlfriend's stomach hurt afterwards. We only took small servings of the things we were interested in but we left very, very full.

I found their pudding to be very nice (didn't know I liked pudding before that).

If the owner of this restaurant is reading this and wondering what they would need to do to raise my vote to a 5 star - it would be to include an soft-drink self-service (at no extra charge). They did have coffee and water available at no extra charge.

I didn't pay full price (spreets promotion) but I think the price per head is $22ish which for all you can eat with such a great range is pretty good.

Service was really great - eventhough the food is self-service, they were well staffed. The staff went around topping up the soup in the hotpot and making sure everyone had what they wanted. Also the staff spoke English to me (I'm Australian) not Chinese to my girlfriend (who is Chinese). I think it is rude to speak Chinese to my girlfriend and ignore me, which often happens in Chinese restaurants.

Food was great - 5 meats. Word of warning the meat that looks fatty, is actually fatty! I spent a lot of the time chewing so you probably don't want to choose too much of that variety.

Plenty of seafood options and offals. Heaps of vegetables - including baby corn - which I love. The baby corn surprisingly goes very well in hotpot and with soy sauce.

After your meal you can help yourself to orange and watermelon.

Approximate cost: $22
