My wife and I LOVE this place! The owner/staff and polite, friendly and competent. The food is awesome and the coffee and drinks are the best in the district. The Edge is situated at the eastern end of the busy shop precinct means and we've never had any hassles with parking. It's especially good when the sun shines so that you can sit outside and enjoy the fresh (sea) air. All in all a warm and friendly local business and a great place for a meal/latte and catch up.

We get to the Espy regularly for a meal and really enjoy the experience. If the weather's fine the al fresco area on the Esplanade is great spot to sit and enjoy a latte or a wine/beer. Inside there is a large dining area with large windows which overlook the Brighton jetty and allow you to enjoy the beautiful seascape (hint: if you book early you can ask to be seated close to these windows). There is another eating area inside right on the corner and this is nice too. We tried a variety of meals here and have not been disappointed .. good quality and not too expensive. Sometimes they have a special deal on oysters and this is well worth hopping in for (loooooove their kilpatrick varieties!).

I really enjoy this cafe. I usually call by once a month for a latte and a bite to eat. There's a good variety of food and the coffee is very good. The staff are professional and friendly and it's easy parking at the front door.

My wife and I eat here once a month (and sometimes pick up take away) - the quality of the food is sensational. Always fresh and tasty and the prices are very reasonable. Parking can be a little tricky (it's across the road from the hospital) but if the car park is full there is always a park just around the corner. You will not be disappointed here!
