WARNING - Do not eat here unless you have a healthy appetite.

The serving sizes here are huge! I can never finish a meal here without needing to undo my belt.

The food is great, the staff are great and it is very good value for money. The downside is that Ballandean is a long way from Brisbane, so I don't get to go there too often.

If you're ever around that way touring the wineries, or travelling, it is definitely worth stopping in for a meal and a beer!

I like Fasta Pasta. I should remember to eat there more often.

The staff are always friendly, the food is always good, and the service is pretty good and decent value for money.

If you're looking for good pasta and a good price, these are the guys to provide it. And if you're a local, you'll probably find a voucher for these guys in your mailbox, or on the back of a supermarket docket.

It's Hungry Jacks. It's not fine dining. But you don't expect it to be. Of all the fast food places in the area this is one of my favourites. The burgers taste decent, most of the time the fries and onion rings are hot, the place is usually clean, and the staff for the most part seem happy and friendly.

Whenever I feel like a burger fix, I go there (they're open 24 hours, so it gives me something to do when I have insomnia, too).

There's something about all you can eat that appeals to me.

I like Sizzler. I like the range. It's whittled down over the years, but it is still pretty good. I like that there is something for everyone on the menu and in the salad bar.

The prices are starting to get a bit high, but if you're like me and are happy with just the salad bar, then it's a pretty good dining option.

The only negative I really have is that they don't do breakfast other than on a Sunday, and it's not for very long. I mean, who gets up THAT early on a Sunday morning?

I remember going to the Regatta back in my University days. It was a dingy little bar that closed early, kept "traditional" Sunday trading hours and had character. I always thought it was destined to be closed and turned into another Coronation Drive high-rise apartment complex.

So, I was pleasantly surprised that they renovated it, and gave it a new lease on life. It is a fun place to drink, to socialize, and even to eat.

Until I moved to the outer suburbs the Regatta was the favourite place to have a Sunday session.

If you're in the area, drop in for a beer, some food, and a great atmosphere!

I'll get the one negative I have out of the way early - I live too far away to go here more often.

My first introduction to Cav's was when some friends drove me all the way from the northern suburbs of Brisbane to have dinner there. I thought it was a bit of a drive to have a steak. I was wrong.

The staff are very helpful, and could tell you the name of the cow if you asked (they have their own butcher shop). And the steak? Awesome. I can't remember when I have had better.

The last time I ate there my date and I rode all the way on her motorbike in the rain to get there. It was definitely worth it!

If you are ever in the area go there. You will not regret it!

Overall, this was an average dining experience. There was nothing exceptional about the service, food, atmosphere, etc. If anything, our order took a little longer than I thought it would (the place was not too busy) and was a bit overpriced.

I was thinking about going back for their 1 kg challenge, but I don't know...

I've been here once for breakfast, and I won't be back. If I wanted bad service and to be treated like a number rather than a customer I would have gone to the nearby McDonald's. It's a shame, really, because I like eating at Subway.

This is how a Subway should be! The staff is friendly, the service is good, the quality excellent. They've even managed to upsell me a few times because they have been so nice. Day or night this is an excellent Subway!

This Subway is a little disappointing. The staff seem more interested in seeing you on your way rather than serving you (even when they have no other customers). For a Subway based in a food court, this is really the wrong attitude to have. I'll be giving this place a miss the next time I eat in the food court.
