This business is a sheltered-workshop style business that helps people who need rehabilitation help, or are not as readily able to work in the general workforce for whatever reason. They make wooden products such as wine/storage bins, timber wine boxes and pallets, as well as providing packaging services and labelling and de-labelling of products.
I purchased some 3-bottle wine display boxes. They are made of solid pine, with a perspex, sliding lid. The quality is excellent, the price was very cheap, I thought. I intend to use them for displaying model cars, so I think that they could have other uses also, as well as for gift, presentation or safe transporting of bottles of wine. They told me they could also make-to-order, and had made a wooden display case for a customer recently.
I went in looking to buy a good-quality all-purpose bike. Had no idea what I really wanted or needed. They were very patient and helpful, answering all my questions, giving me excellent advise, and fitting me with exactly what I needed, in the price range I was looking at. The service was very friendly, they made me feel like an important customer, and not like the clueless person I really was!
The premises are large, neat and spacious, with a good range of bikes and accessories. Not cluttered and jam-packed like many bike shops. And once you have bought a bike, they give you a 10% discount when you purchase other bike accessories.
This is a beautiful, big park, on the banks of the River Murray, only a couple of kms. from the town centre. We had an ensuite site in the new section of the park. It was very neat and clean, and so peaceful! There are other sites among the gum trees down near the river, with kangaroos grazing on the lawns. The managers are very friendly and helpful. A top spot!
Approximate cost: $31 ensuite
There is a local community group that runs the Nildottie Hall, which is for hire at a very, very reasonable rate, and has very good facilities, with a well equipped kitchen, bar area, stage and dance floor. It is a great venue to hire for parties etc. and the Hall is open as a community club on Friday nights.
They have just renovated their premises, and the new layout is great. Everything is easier to find, and there is a lot more room at the counter. The staff are friendly and helpful.
They have a great range of different pies and pasties, etc. and a lot of other cakes and pastries. The bakery is large and clean and tidy, and there are seats and tables with a nice view out over the main street.
The meal was very nice. Reasonable price for the meal provided. The dining room is large and spacious, away from the main bar and pokies. There is an outdoor area, and large windows overlooking the River Murray and ferry below.
They do a terrific job. We live 100kms from their premises, and they were there promptly, did an excellent job on replacing our large and quite awkward window, and were very helpful with the insurance as well.
They have a huge range of model cars, in all different scales, and from all around the world. There is a good range of Australian models, which I am particularly interested in.
I collect model cars, and they have a good range of various model cars, including Australian ones. The prices are not too bad, and I found a couple of bargains as well.
They have a nice selection of other toys as well.
