I am always on the lookout for authentic Taiwanese food considering the fact that I'm half Taiwanese so I was overjoyed when Taiwan Cafe opened it's doors here in Melbourne.

I've been to the cafe numerous times and my all time favourites from all those mouthwatering dishes would have to be the beef noodles, oysters omelette as well as fried drumlets. Their great value for money lunch boxes are worth a go too !!

However, there are some downsides to this place. There aren't a lot of room for us to move around in as all the tables and chairs are being placed very closely to one another and don't expect excellent services from the waiters and waitresses. And if my memory does not fail me, only cash is accepted here as well.

Nevertheless, it is still one of my favourite eateries and I will definitely return for more !!!

Absolutely love Typo !! They have the best stationeries and a wide range of other trinkets that one would need on a daily basis. Not only are their designs modern, edgy, attractive and cute, they are very reasonably priced too.

I also love how often they change their products so I am never bored and am always fascinated each time I enter the store. Typo is also located in many locations which makes shopping real easy for me but the store at Westfield Doncaster is probably one of the best around as the sales assistant is not only patient and helpful, she is also extremely friendly.

This restaurant has got to be one of the most luxurious one I have been to in Melbourne. The owners spared no expense when it comes to decorating the restaurant. Almost everything was decorated and served in gold with crystals chandeliers hanging from the ceiling in every corner and marvellously laid Marble tiles.

We were there in group of 8 so we got ourselves a private room which didn't come cheap either but the food , wine and services provided to us were superb.

I would definitely recommend this place if you are after something extragavant and luxurious.

Limelight Cafe is just a stone's throw away from my place .. (Yes, I have revealed my residence to the anyone that is reading this review) and I have been dying to give it a go for ages but never did till a few days ago and I must say that the whole place took me by surprise as I was obviously fooled by it's weird location.

I love the cleanliness , friendliness and the wide selection of cakes as well as main courses, not forgetting , the outdoor dinning area where I could just relax , enjoy my food and my book ...

if you're after a good deal for pizza and pasta, New Age Pizza is the place to go.

They offer several deals which are value for money with generous portions and toppings. Most importantly, the ingredients used are fresh and tasty !!

The salon itself, is rather spacious and nicely decorated but the services provided by the manager and his team of staff are rather disappointing. It appears that there is only one skillful hairdresser at the salon who happens to be the manager as well and he does everything so he can be all over the place and often, forgetting what he has to do for each client. His staff were rather rude and didn't appear to be very skillful either. I was fortunate enough to have my hair entirely done by him but it took him a while to do that. Having said all of the above, my cut and color turned out okay.

An absolute must for cakes and desserts lover like myself to go to. Their wide selections of desserts are to die for and so are their mains. The cuisines are modern and tasty especially their chilli prawns with rice !!!

They provide indoor as well as alfresco dinning and the ambience is always good. Staff are always smiling and attentive which I love.

The wine selection is also pretty good and they do have live music on certain nights which is another plus point for Melissa.

Desserts, sweets, pastries , cookies , pies are my fav especially desserts, all kinds of desserts.

Asian or chinese desserts are rather hard to find here in Melbourne and Monga Dessert Lounge was one of the very first Asian dessert stores around. For a dessert lover like myself, I really didn't have much options so Monga was my usual haunt should I crave for asian desserts.

Having mention all of the above, I would only go there if I am "dying" for asian desserts as the quality of the food aren't great, the staff are often rude and ignorant and the desserts .... definitely overpriced !!!

I am always on the lookout for great pizzas and I was so glad I found Crust Gourmet Pizza through a friend.

Their pizza selections are simply extravagant and the ingredients , generously spread. The taste of course, are superb as well with the crust perfectly prepared. Not forgetting, friendly and courteous staff !!

I am a frequent flyer and I have flown with several airlines but Emirates is by far, my favourite. The flight attendants are always polished, well-mannered and helpful. The food is good with proper silver cutlery and more leg room as compared to the other aircrafts/airlines. Everything is well organised right down to the dimming of lights. Even the baggage allowance of 30kg is more generous than most airlines.
