10 reviews about A Womans Touch Domestic Agency

Reliable, trustworthy, service. Great cleaners. Have used the service for many years and have recommended them to family and friends, including my elderly mother. None of us has never experienced anything other than consistently good and reliable service. I note some of the reviews below and am surprised at the spite of some people. I was given all information up front when I called with my initial inquiry and this information is available on their web site for all to see

Was moving into a new home and had this company do a thorough clean out of the home before we moved in. Fantastic job! Helped lessen the stress of the move as they did a great job, use with confidence!

started our regular weekly clean (desperately needed) nearly 3 months ago. Having had numerous companies let me down, or send appalling cleaners, this company wins, hands down, for service, value and reliability. For the very first time, I am willing to recommend my cleaning agency to others

I have been using this company for 12 years on a weekly basis and have recommended them to many friends and family over the years, they recently started to do my mother who is suffering from cancer and they have been VERY understanding and helpful in working with her changes due to chemo which is why I have looked for a way to thank them publicly in appreciation during a hard time. I have been dealing with the same owners for at least 12 years, and they are they the same they have always been, highly professional and reliable, which is why they have been in business so long and seem to be the agency with the most reliable cleaners as I have referred many friends/family who had little success elsewhere. So talk of change of ownership is definitely untrue, I am in business myself and know what lengths unreasonable clients can twist things to when they have done the wrong or dishonest thing. Thank you A Woman's Touch Staff, your support of my friends and family's domestic requirements has always been greatly appreciated.

We contacted this company amid glowing self-reviews and seemingly thorough offerings in the cleaning market. When we first spoke to them they were professional, thorough, flexible and attentive. We booked a fortnightly clean.

Then came the first test. A week before we were to have a cleaner over my wife called to change times as we were going to have a large party at our house a day later after the cleaner was due to come. No problem, appointment changed, however when the cleaner arrived on Sept 11, she was, despite our urgings, the slowest person we have ever had work for us. We asked the agency earlier and reminded the cleaner that we wanted the house done in 3 hours, our house is a small-medium 3 bedroomer. After 1 hour she was still in the first room, our bedroom. We ended up extending to 4 hours, despite our budget but even then she still had 3 rooms to do, and we'd had enough and told her to leave them.

When we contacted the agency we were put through to the Manager and he politely told us about how they can only get students in some areas and they were young ra ra ra, we went along with that and confirmed that the next date was Sept 23 as we wanted to resume a fortnightly schedule from the Sept 11 date.

So imagine our surprise when a new cleaner arrived on the 16th , we had to turn them back and when we spoke on the phone with the Manager again but he denied knowing that the conversation to change to the 23rd ever took place. Soon his denials turned ugly and threatened to send the debt collectors in. My wife got distressed and kept relaying what events occurred and he kept responding by saying that the matter was out of his hands, we owed the debt collectors $88.50 and that was that. Soon the Manager was actually shouting “I don't care if you are losing your patience!” cutting my wife off, and eventually hanging up the phone. When my wife called back twice to further find out what was going on, each time, the lady one of the reviewers below describes as “dragon lady” picked up the phone and when my wife asked “Will you please let me explain?” she said “NO!!! this matter is resolved!” and hung up the phone.

My wife called me at work in tears and I called them back for a please explain about the date mix up, to which he responded that at the time he DID ask my wife was it okay for “next” Thursday, ( he meant 16th ) and when wife repeatedly said “Sept 23?” to which he agreed and that it was her fault that she got it wrong! When I asked him what proof he had he said all phone conversations were logged and that he'd checked them all. I found this most interesting as my wife called straight after all this had occurred and I was on the phone straight away so there's no way he could have had enough time to retrieve the logs nor was he willing to let me listen to them over the phone or in person at the office as all good call centres can do.

Despite their obvious appalling handling of this, the fact that the agency would cut off an ongoing contract after only one clean, no warnings and straight to debt agency over $88.50 represents either: 1) their paranoia over what their general customer base feels about them and their ability to get any money out of them due to obvious factors or 2) they have no idea how to run a business in the 21st century and that customer service is paramount.

Add to that that their company name is “A Woman's touch” is equally insulting to our intelligence and women in general.

From the second i called and spoke to the horrible dragon lady on the phone i thought nevermind about her i just need someone to clean my home. She is the most expensive at $29 per hour i thought service should be good, WRONG. I booked 3hrs i have a 2bd 1 bathroom house on 1 level. She was sooo slow and not at all fastidious. When dusting she would pick up ornament wipe under it and put it back down even though i wrote lists for her and told her please take everything off, clean and put back nicely, she wouldnt do it, same with my kitchen, she would just clean around things leaving horrible smear marks allover black granite. i stopped telling her what to do coz she just would't listen. In my sons room she put the on the doona cover but not the flat sheet which i had not given her coz i forgot and she made up the bed without telling me the was no sheet even though i was there. if thats not enough i left her for the last half or and came back to see my wooden floor sopping wet, ihad to grab atowel and quickly take eccess water off , she had no idea, when she left i noticed die didnt vacuum at all didd't touch the living room, ther was still dust and crums everywhere from my kids, she waslked over the 3 toys in my sons room didny think to tochthem. overall so bad an insult to me. I call ed the dragon lady, what a hoorible person she should not be in busuness and asking those prices and sending out people who dont want to clean but are happy to take your money, i cancelled her she doesnt deserve to take my husbands hard earned money.

House cleaning and ironing. We dumped them after 10 years. New staff/owners are the rudest people we have dealt with. They lied, didnt return calls, didnt care. They didnt tell us that our cleaner of six years had retired until after she had gone. They were rude to my wife when she complained about poor service and failed to ring her back when they promised to. In the last 3 weeks we have had three different cleaners. The office manager was so rude, he even suggested that perhaps they should just cancel our account. They have no understanding of customer service and they should be debt collectors - because that describes their level of customer relations.

I used this agency for a couple of years, and despite poor service, I kept using them as the cleaner I had was not too bad. The agency office lost my keys (I can only assume one of their cleaners still has them to this day) but they denied it and when I finally stopped using this agency, the keys that were returned were a copy. When I left the agency other worse issues arose - this is the worst I've experienced from any business to be honest.

I dealt with the agent , Womans Touch, to get house cleaner. The cleaner had never cleaned professionally and was sent out without any training. I needed full house, everything done. She cleaned as she did her own house

I engaged A Womans Touch Domestic Agency for a 4hr spring clean of my home. Specific priorities were firstly the windows and oven, then a general clean of the rest of the house.
