Allen Moving responded positively and quickly to my short-notice request for a local move and packing. It was a stressful time for me as I had to have a new home in place when my husband came home from hospital. From the initial enquiry, through to the packing day and the actual move itself, Allen staff were professional, helpful and friendly. The company has an impressive corporate image and immaculate vehicle. Work was done on time. All items, including artwork, were carefully packed and moved with no damage whatsoever. Empty cartons were collected a few days later. I would highly recommend this company.

The boys from Allen's arrived on our door step right on time at 7.00am and wasted no time in loading our house onto the truck for our big move to the other side of city. The guys were great, friendly and more than accommodating wanting to do the best for us time wise. Needless to say we were all unloaded on the other side of town by 12.30pm with no breakages or scratches in site. We can not praise these guys enough and will be using them in 6 months time for out next move, no hesitation.

We had never used removalists previously and were a little concerned about what might happen. Well, it all started on time, extremely polite and professional, nothing was too difficult (even managed to relocate a massive potted tree) and was completed at a blistering pace without incident. Ben Allen transformed what could have been a monumental disaster into a problem with a solution. After the default of our purchaser, resulting in a move date which changed [in December at his busiest time of year], our bridging bank found a minor paper technicality on the day of settlement and refused to pay up. Our move therefore had to be cancelled on a Friday afternoon after all our possessions had been loaded onto the truck. We felt we had no option but to instruct Ben to unload but, no, he pulled out his mobile phone, found another truck to manage his weekend jobs, insured our goods and stored them on the truck for the weekend. After an anxious wait by all concerned, settlement took place at about 4PM on Monday and Ben arrived with a large team to unload after a long day's work.

No matter what problems we incurred Ben took them on as his own and helped to find a solution. In addition his team were polite, well mannered, fun and extremely careful. We moved into a new house with living space on the first floor so all our heavy furniture had to be carried upstairs past newly painted walls: the one and only mark rubbed off with a wet cloth.

I moved 6 weeks ago but I'm still telling everyone I know about my experience and the help that Allen's gave us. They truly went the extra mile – 2 miles – to provide an excellent customer service

Moving storage items into home the work was done without any problems quickly and efficiently. The goods which had been in storage for over 12 months were in the same condition as when they went into storage. Very impressed with the workers who have now done a total of 3 shifts for me in 15 months.

These guys did a great job. I had a house full of furniture moved into storage and then over about six months from time to time we needed to retrieve bits and pieces. Everything happened very simply, the guys in the truck arrived on time and were efficient and helpful with packing everything onto the truck. Whenever we need to retrieve anything it was organised quickly and easily and when we got everything out of storage at the end and it was delivered to two separate locations the guys were patient and assisted us to work out what was what and what needed to go where.

We were really happy with the whole process.

Very impressed with the attitude and service by the guys who moved our office furniture. We had an extremely large and heavy mirror which was moved without a hitch and the guys were still smiling!!!!

Allens picked up our furniture (helping to pack where we hadn't finished and now store it. This was a small job but one of a number undertaken for us by Allens and we have been very happy with the service.
