We moved house - a fairly simple move from a double story house with pretty easy access to a single story house with good access.

We had the move booked in for about 3-4 weeks, when only 2 days prior to when we were due to move we found out our settlement was delayed and we couldnt move. Allens were great in understanding our predicament and quickly re-booking our move to a time that suited us post settlement.

Ben Allen relocated my husband and I from the 10th floor of a highrise bldg to a 2 storey inner city home. The truck had to be parked outside the garage gate and our goods transported a short distance from our apartment to the lift and a considerable distance from the lift to the truck.

Ben was open and honest, informing us that if he was to set a price with all the unknowns involved he would have to load it and felt it would be preferable for us to pay an hourly rate, quoting what he thought would be the approximate price using 3 men. Although it was a bit scarey we decided to go this way.

A couple of days prior to the move we discovered we would not be able to move into our new home until the following day. Ben came to our rescue offering to move us out on the scheduled date, keeping our goods in the truck overnight and delivering on the following day.

Everything went totally smoothly, with our possessions being moved in good condition, free of hastles and with the guys demonstrating a real commitment to service

As it turned out the job didn't take as long as originally anticipated and was therefore a better price than expected. We were extremely happy with our experience and would definitely use Allen Removals again.

It was a typical office move (desks, boxes etc), but with the added complications of some large and heavy equipment (panel saw, wide format digital printer etc). Ben not only gave us a terrific quote, but he and his staff were fantastic on the day. They worked and worked, overcame all the many problems and hiccups that inevitably occur, and we were all moved in by 3pm the same day.
