I was very impressed by the quality of service provided by Allen Moving and Storage staff.
My parents are elderly and recently downsized. It was important for the moving process to be as seamless and stress free as possible. Allen Moving & Storage ticked all the boxes. Our moving guys Tim & Brett were courteous, friendly, respectful, efficient and prompt. They clearly knew their job and got on with it, no muss, no fuss. The entire move took less than 2.5 hours. And when they remote went missing, Brett remembered exactly where it was, for a prompt recovery!
Don't be fooled by the 'low cost' competitors - the headaches aren't worth the perceived savings.

I highly recommend Allens. The removalists are great, they turn up on time, nothing is too much trouble and most importantly unlike some other removalists the quote is the price you pay, no hidden extras. Highly recommended.

We were moving after living in our home of 23 years and had a lot to move and had to move to different locations. The Allen crew turned up on time and advised the best solution to work for the load. The crew and service was excellent and our needs were met with a minimum of fuss. I have used moves several times and know what a good service means. My previous movers which I have had a relationship for 30 years are only doing storage now and recommended Allen movers. It was a good recommendation as it matched my expectations and would be more than happy to used them again. Allen movers will be my only choice from now on. Polite and helpful removalists, who were not intimidating even though I was a single mum shifting house with a some large, heavy furniture items. They can be relied upon to turn up on time, or contact you if they are running late. Wonderful service and I will use them again next time I shift.

Moved from a roomier suburban home to a cramped city flat. Booking was a little fraught but once that was behind us I was very impressed. Nothing was too hard (including the piano). The flat was still being renovated, some of the items had to go to a ground-level storage. It's in a strange location, required parking on a main city thoroughfare, and it has an awkward stairwell...and it was a very hot day. So the move wasn't probably their favorite but I was impressed with their calm tenacity. I only wish I'd had my wits about me & had food & beer on hand--my mistake was the only downer!

We were clearing my mother's house out after more than 50 years of her living in it and we chose Allen's based another person's recommendation. We could not fault them. They were prompt, efficient, took care of everything and made sure that everything was securely wrapped and stowed. I would recommend them to anyone who was wanting fast, efficient and courteous service.

Earlier this month (Jan 2014), we moved from Melbourne to Central Western NSW – We chose Allen Moving & Storage after looking at WOMO, and after Ben Allen came to quote for the job. The three young men who arrived to pack up our possessions on moving day (Dean, Anton and Matt) were hardworking, professional, obliging and good humoured. The next day (day 2) Dean and Anton drove the truck loaded with our possessions to our new home, a trip of more than 11 hours, and unloaded them in the increasing heat of the following day (day 3), again with professionalism and good humour. The load was beautifully packed. There were no casualties. We were sorry to say our goodbyes to Dean and Anton as they set off to drive back to Melbourne that same day. We have no regrets for having chosen Allen Moving. Thanks Ben, and especially Dean, and Anton, and Matt.
