I would not recommend Amovers after our experience with them.

Our truck was booked for arrival between 2 and 4 in the afternoon. We received a call at noon letting us know that they were running behind schedule and that they would be "a bit late." We waited, and waited.... and waited some more.
Calls to their virtual secretary for updates went unreturned. The truck eventually arrived at 6:30 in the evening, and time we could have spent making trips between locations were instead spent waiting for two blokes and a truck to turn up.

The attitude of the removalists was also poor. When they scuffed a piece of antique furniture, it is not acceptable to say that "there are marks on it anyway." When they scratched paint off our walls, I am not interested in getting "his mate who's a painter" to fix it up. Lastly, I expect that when a deposit is paid, that amount is to be subtracted from the total price.

While I understand that especially with removalists, schedules can change and items can be damaged, but the lack of communication, and lack of care but their employees left a very poor taste in our mouth. The only positive thing I can say is that they were cheap, as the saying goes, but if you pay peanuts...

These guys are friendly reliable and happy to work. Booking was easy. Rates good. Definitely use them again and highly recommended.

I was recommended by a friend to move with Amovers as they had previously moved with them, and i was so glad that I did! The removalists were great! after I had made my booking I had asked them if it was possible to move my job to a earlier time and I was so impressed at there efforts to accomodate my needs! Couldn't have asked for a better experience for my move.

I have moved with this company 3 times now and every time they have been on time, polite, efficient and always get the job done amazingly!

BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE. ! I will never use or recommend AMovers to anyone! They overcharged for an extra hour ($120) and threatened to take the truck back to the depot with our items still inside if we didn't pay for the extra hour. The office lady advised that the clock starts and stops when they arrive and leave the sites. The driver incorporated the extra hour to cover his time to get back to the depot. They charged us an exorbitant $125 for plastic wrapping on a few items. They arrived over 2 hours late and the reason they provided was due to bad traffic. The driver confirmed it was actually because they were at another job. The owner rudely responded with 'whats the problem?! - you are lucky it was only 2 hours late, other removalists don't turn up at all'. I have used other removalists in the past and all have never treated customers with this type of disdain or level of rudeness. While the office lady is polite and helpful to win the business, the owner operates a very dishonest business. STAY AWAY!

4 bedroom house removals.
The guys turned up early, were polite & professional & nothing was too much trouble.
The whole removal process was made a lot easier & less painful because of them.
Their removal rates were very competitive as well.
