Afnaan is a true professional and an artist. I have been going to her for 4 years now and am always pleased. My eyebrows are perfect and she always works with what suits your face. Afnaan always explains what she is doing and why. If your eyebrows have been hacked pirior to seeing her it can take time to restore them so newbies be patient! I can go 6-8 weeks in between appointments because they are shaped well from the get go. Not expensive at all for that time frame. Always look forward to my visits!

I was disappointed with this. They did not listen to what I asked for and and gave me absolutely the wrong colour tint. Which is upsetting becaause, it is my face! They also eemed annoyed to have a customer there in the first place which is never a good sign. I felt like saying 'Sorry to bother you!!'

Afnaan is amazing. An eyebrow queen. She explains what she's doing, waxes, tweezers, tints and shapes the brows beautifully. Not cheap, but when you factor in the included tint it's a bit more reasonable. She's a lovely girl too.

While Afnaan does a much better job on brows than most, for the hefty price she demands, I was pretty disappointed. Maybe I was expecting miracles because of the rave reviews plastered all over vogue, but truthfully, I don't feel that this service is all its cracked up to be. I hate to be 'that guy', but I felt it necessary to put at least one honest review out there for all the brow crazed gals like myself. On my last visit to Afnaan, she had double booked my appointment and asked me to come back in half an hour and to top it off, I left the salon with my left eyebrow shorter than the other, and my right brow slightly higher. Now, admittedly, I am a bit of an eyebrow perfectionist, and these small mistakes could have gone unnoticed to the untrained eye - but for $90, mistakes are not to be expected. Overall, the job was decent and I did learn a few valuable brow lessons from Afnaan, but for me, the hunt for the best brow specialist in Melbourne continues!

I first read about Arch Enemy here on WOMO and I had my first appointment with Afnaan yesterday. I must say, the previous reviewers were not exaggerating and I am so impressed with the results!

I've never been to a proper eyebrow artist before, so I really didn't know what to expect. Afnaan was extremely friendly and explained everything she was going to do, the reasons why, and the products she was using on my skin. I felt completely relaxed and at ease. She also instructed me on how to maintain my brows inbetween visits, which is helpful because I'm hopeless at that kind of stuff!

It did take me a long time to get my first appointment, but it was certainly worth the wait. Now that I've had my brows done by a professional, I don't think I could ever go back! The cost of the service is also reflective of the quality and expertise of the job overall.

I'm so looking forward to my next appointment in a few weeks!

Afnaan does an amazing job. She takes into consideration your input and does exactly what you want. She takes extra care to make sure that everything is perfect before you leave and even applies a little concealer if you're going to be running around the city afterwards. It is costly and there are cheaper places - but the service and quality of her work is worth it!

Afnaan at Arch Enemy eyebrows shapes the most amazing brows ever.. The first consultation where she tells you how your brows are, what she uses and how she will shape them is very helpful - but nothing prepares you for how great they look once done.. Book early, cos she seems to be always booked out!

Afnaan is The Eyebrow Queen - simply the best!

I have quite thick dark eyebrows which have always been hard to tame but over the last few years Af has gently moulded them into model-perfect brows and I am always happy with the result.
Af ensures brows are the right tint & shape for your complexion/face/hair colour and is an absolute perfectionist - always plucking those pesky hairs until they are neat as a pin!

Visiting Arch Enemy is an absolute pleasure, with friendly conversation always happening and both Af and Michael (who runs Gadhra & Milesian hair in the same space) are always offering drinks or snacks.

Highly recommended - book now! It can be hard to get in especially around spring carnival & Christmas...
