7 reviews about Asian City

My family and I go to Asian City Chinese Supermarket for weekly groceries shopping for Chinese items. The bargain area for fresh produce is a must-checked out area as they sell a bag of vegetables (eg. bok choy) for $2-2.50 which can last you for a few meals. They are very fresh as well. I find that their prices are very reasonable with sale on many daily cooking items (marinating sauce) every week. 4 packs of frozen dim sims (eg sticky rice) sell for $6 when they have a promotion, where other places sell for $10. They also gave me a VIP card which entitles me to 10% discount off non-sale items (rice exclusive). Check outs are fast and efficient too!

A really good Asian grocer with many great basics for Asian cooking. Lots of vegies and Asian products that are hard to find. The vegies are really fresh and cheap but can be dirty.

The supermarket is very crowded and the fresh vegetable section is especially narrow thus hard to move around. The vegetables are very cheap though but not as clean (a bit of sand her and there in some of them) but the product tastes fresh! It sells a whole range of asian groceries (dumplings/soy sauce/asian lollies) and they give out loyalty cards for spending over $50 so you can save 10%!

I came here in the hope of buying somewhat cheap Asian goods but found that most packets of lollies were $5 and over... The drinks were quite cheap though and I don't think there was a difference in the price of the refrigerated and the non-refrigerated drinks.

This is a typical Asian supermarket and is usually crowded with people, depending on which time you come here. The things sold at this shop are inexpensive and are quite nice.

The shop is usually crowded but the staff can be annoying as they check even your handbags thoroughly before you leave which made my experience there not such a good one.

If the clientele is anything to go by, it's the place to pick up most of your asian groceries. Think it's mostly chinese goods; japanese and korean goods seem a bit pricey. A great range of products - they don't have much Malaysian goods though (e.g. A1 curry powder)
