RIP OFF! We've ordered bins on two occasions. Both times the delivery was at 6pm or delayed to the following day, which meant we paid for a day's hire that we couldn't use. Pick was (of course) on time first thing on the collection day. Even after being delivered a day late, the bin was still collected on time. To add insult to injury, we were charged extra both times. They're the cheapest but you get what you pay for. By the time we added an extra $100, and had a hire of one day less, we could've hired a bigger bin from someone else; which is exactly what we'll do in future.

NEVER EVER USE AUSTRALIAN WASTE RECYCLERS!!!!! Booked through Bookabin. Australian Waste Recyclers claimed our green waste bin weighed 4.22 tones and charged us an extra $1095.60 on top of the cost of the bin $314 and an extra $350 for being overloaded. We paid a total of $1759.60 for a green waste bin (leaves, twigs and branches only). Australian Waste Recyclers took the $1095.60 out of our credit card WITHOUT OUR AUTHORITY. When we asked for proof of the bin being overweight, they only provided us with a screen shot of an email saying that a weight had been checked and a spread sheet Australian Waste Recyclers had made up themselves and tried to claim it was a weighbridge docket which clearly it WAS NOT.
We repeatedly asked Australian Waste Recyclers for the original weighbridge docket as proof of the overweight charge, however they were defensive and refused to provide it.

After reviewing our case our banking institution refunded the $1095.60 for the "so called" overweight charge. Need I say more!!!!

And even after our bank reversed the charge, Australian Waste Recyclers tried to have it reversed again in their favour. However when we finally did get a copy of the original weighbridge docket, what do you know???? It was a weighbridge docket for general waste with a totally different docket number to the one the company told us was ours. Our green waste bin never weighed 4.22 tonnes and Australian Waste Recyclers charged us overweight charges using a weighbridge docket for someone else’s bin. UNBELIVEABLE!!!

Booking through book-a-bin was very easy and price was on point compared to elsewhere. Where I was disappointed was the lack of communication. Received an email on the morning of scheduled delivery, but when bin had not been delivered at 16:30 I rang to get an update. Received confirmation over the phone that bin would still be delivered that evening, however didn’t happen. Rang following day a few times to get a status update, but no response (this was a Saturday). Original email stated that I would be advised if any issue with late delivery, which I never received. Late Saturday the bin suddenly rocked up (pleasant surprise although one day too late). Besides that, all okay and pick up according to plan. Never received a follow up phone call or apology for late delivery.

Fantastic company to work with. Communication for my booking was amazing, the driver was friendly and had no trouble placing the bin where I needed it to go.
It is great to see a local company working their hardest, with the best service, especially during a pandemic and the restrictions

The skip was left in my driveway and picked up as agreed, when the truck was leaving the driveway by driving over the lawn, the tray smashed the gate (driveway is 4.7mt wide).
When I notified the office receptionist she advised she would speak to the driver and get back to me.
several days later I again contacted the office to be told we accept no responsibility for any damage done behind the gates, its in our "Terms and Conditions on our website"
this manager was rude and very unfriendly

Have been waiting two weeks for them to pick up their bin. Contacted a week ago and was rudely told “As soon as we have a truck in the area, it will be collected “. I live 25 minutes from Dandenong. It shouldn’t take this long.

Wouldn't use them again. Their receptionist, Lana, was unhelpful, belittling and clearly thinks using the terms and conditions line is ideal customer service skills to justify the company's uncertainty of pick-up times when it is already late. Still waiting to hear back from the office manager... Booking via Book A Bin was a breeze, and no complaints on the drop off. Massive disappointment when companies have people like Lana as front line service.

The pick up time you chose was a public holiday. Book a bin clearly states that collection date expires midnight of the day. We then start collecting bins 1 - 2 business days, as soon as a truck is in the area next. A bin was also scheduled to be delivered to you today so the logical way was to swap them over at the same time, which, did not suit you. I was not belittling whatsover, I was clearly explaining the terms and conditions of how the company operates. So sorry you feel this way about me, expressing company terms.

Excellent communication from the time of booking through to advising of delays in delivery of the bin. It then arrived when I was told it would arrive and picked up the next day which meant I didn’t have a bin taking up space in my driveway. Great service and would highly recommend.

Delivered the wrong bin then wouldn’t offer a partial refund on the price difference. Super rude.

Hello Jessica,
You were offered an extra cubic metre of waste to be removed in lieu of the 1/2 cubic metre smaller bin that was delivered. A partial refund was not supplied as the price of a 5 m bin was in excess of what you paid for a 6 cubic metre bin. Therefore if we applied the difference in prices this would have meant that you would have incurred more costs.
