Horrible company

Absolutely atrocious and unprofessional company to deal with. Very quick to commit you to a sale and promise the world, but then can't follow up nor communicate on their promises. About 15 emails and numerous phone calls over a 2 month period trying to get answers and confirmation about job booked, only to find out that nothing was booked until the last minute and completely unorganised.

Accounts department is extremely pushy and rude demanding payment within minutes or my job would be cancelled (the next day)

Subcontractors who actually did the work went above and beyond and worked extremely late to get the job done within the prescribed time, especially since the materials weren't measured or ordered correctly.

Would strongly recommend staying away from this company unless you like continuous disappointment and stress. All they want is your money upfront and don't care for customer service, their customers or their sub contractors

No experts here!
Pictures would tell a 1000 words, it's unfortunate I can't upload the evidence. Damaged skirting and walls, flooded laundry, installers abusing each other, blood stains and management not accepting responsibility. I continue to seek a resolution. I've now had to pay a builder to repair the damage so I can get my house back in order. There's a reason they want full payment 2 days prior to the job. Buyer beware! And despite an offer to help as a reply on another review website posting, 2 business days have gone by and I've received no contact.

Well...no phone call after 2 weeks ordering 5 anti-slip for my 5 irregular mats over carpet.
I visited carpet call Watergardens to find out the progress...The certain staff member did mention when I put in the order that there were problems with finding the correct measurements for my 2 circular mats: one 1 metre and the other one larger 1.8 metres...
I asked him to sort it out and ring me back...he never did.
When I came in the 2nd time, he said that none were in and he would have to charge me more for the circular undelays, because they couldn't do it as a circle: instead they had to do a square, and I would have to pay more for it.
I replied that I'd already paid for the 5 underlays, and shouldn't have to pay any more. He replied that I would have to...his English was very hard to understand. He asked he to sit down and work it out with him. (He'd already spent atleast 20 minutes labouring on the original order). I replied that he had enough information on the size of the 2 circular mats, and directed him to work it out himself, and get back to me how much I owed for the square underlays. I also had a gym class, and didn't have time to stay.
I hadn't heard from him for another week, so I returned, and found out that he had not put in the order for the 2 circular underlays or worked out the prices for them.
He said " sit down and we'll work it out..." I replied that he should have already worked the price out and should have rang me to tell me, as he already had all the measurements..I was in a hurry for a gym class, and couldn't stay...
Another week went by and I didn't hear anything from him. I rang him anf found out that the 3 rectangular underlays had arrived.( He hadn't bothered to ring me)
The next day I collected them....also complained to him that his good customer service to me, which he did 3 years ago had slipped...
He denied this. I complained that he hadn't rang me when the 3 other underlays had arrived, that he had my phone number, and should have told they had come in.
He denied he did anything wrong, and his excuse was that they came in on his day off...I replied that he should have checked his customers' orders, even though they came in on his day off, and should have informed me that they had arrived. He also hadn't put in the amended order for the 2 circular mats' underlays...and said to me " sit down, and we'll do it".
After waiting since 14th July for the order, I had had enough ...I said to him that he was supposed to work out what I owed ( even though I had already paid) for the square underlays for the 2 circular mats) and given me a phone call to tell me. He denied this.
I then said to him that I had had very poor customer service from him, that I was leaving, and would never come back...

HELENSVALE STORE GOLD COAST - after seven months of $4000 deposit of a $9500 order placed in July 2021 - we are now March 2022 and at our install date, today, and waiting for a booked install and lay. No one turned up, so we rang to find out why. We were told that the stock was not available (even though this install was booked 3 weeks ago!!) And it MAY be another month!! TERRIBLE SERVICE - no communication, until we called on the day, and then to be called HONEY - by a new manager Jason. Clearly we have cancelled the order with a full refund, and will give our money to someone else. Unbelievable !!!!

Dealt with Carpet Call Casula. The floors were installed too low so that the gap below the front door is too big so now does not meet the BCA standards for a fire door. They have refused to rectify the defect and the installer called me angrily and falsely accusing me of the defect.

Very poor service.

They said they would assist me following my review on another website but they never got back to me. They hoped I'd just forget about it. This was 10 months ago. They still haven't done anything about it. To all prospective customers, stay well away. Try somewhere else.

Would rate Carpet -10 if the site allowed, Carpet Call started the install of our timber floor lay early March but split the install over 2 batches and can't get the colour or quality to match - just told us we are on our own the the manufacturer won't help them, apart from all the promises and assurances that the problem will be fixed we are still waiting 10 weeks and $27000 worse off for a bad job, do your self a favour don't go near them.

My experience with Carpet Call was outstanding from the first moment I walked into their store in Nunawading. Robert and Sam really looked after me and worked with me while my house was being repaired before the carpet was to be laid. The quality of the carpet was beautiful and the layers also did a fine job. I am very happy with my whole experience. I waited 20 years for my new carpet and boy was it worth it! Thank you Guys.

After order was done with Browns Plains store, they called, "no stock"
Back there again to chose another one then all done, installation will be 9 March 18
2 days prior we called, although they were the one who promised to call so we could come to finalise the payment, they asked us to call again the next day (1 day prior) then they confirm that installation will be cancelled as "no stock"
I said why no notification earlier as I had taken a day off from work, but the manager was the one vocal shouting to us and started to blame main office loganlea, head of operation, etc and said that not his business.
We then asked for refund but he could not guarantee we could get in full(???)
Finally installation done the following week, the quality of vinyl unbelievably poor and we had to pay more $ 300
from what we agreed.
Quoted cheap to trap you, useless company, hopeless management!! Don't worry about this company, you will regret!!! Having read a few reviews, we had similar experience!! Good reviews?? by who?? :):)
