We had Carpet Call lay our carpet in our townhouse. Our townhouse was built by Latitude 37 who had arranged for the carpet to be laid by Carpet Call.

Two years later and we called carpet call to complain about the quality of the carpet. They came to inspect the carpet and told us it was "permanent pile reversal" and because this isn't considered a manufacturing or installation fault they wont be taking any further action.

My advice to people considering using Carpet Call to lay their carpet is don't! They don't stand by their product. They are eager to take your money for the job, however if the product quality is inferior they don't accept any responsibility.

We now will be taking this matter to Consumer Affairs

Carpet Call was contracted by our home builder to complete the flooring in our new home and we found so many places where the laminate flooring was not finished properly that we made a request to our builder to have it repaired.
Being the contractor, our builder passed this request over to Carpet Call to arrange repairs and in the four or so months since they were advised of the required repairs we cannot even get someone to turn up at our house.
My partner has spend hours on the phone to them with empty promises being made to come and complete the work. Prior to Christmas he was told by a tradesman that he would be out within the next two days and we have not heard from him or Carpet Call over since.
We are at the point where we will have to go to Consumer Affairs to get the repairs to our flooring completed.

I had organised for carpet call to quote and install new carpets. Ben had attended and provided a quote, he was great, punctual and helpful. We had also received a call several days prior to install to confirm booking. Installation came and went without a hitch, however the quality of work/finishing could've been better and the workers could've clean up after install (i.e. vacuum instead of leaving the bits and pieces behind plus carpet install did not feel even).

I had a very bad impression after dealing with Carpet Call in Hoppers Crossing (the person Sam was overly rude and least forthcoming). I gave Carpet Call (Nunawading) a call after reading their reviews on this site. Spoke to a very nice guy called George. Although our house was WAY out of his place, he still did not hesitate even once to come over to our place and give us a quote. Very punctual and very friendly. He made us feel at ease and more than made up for the ill behavior of the other branch.

we had organised carpeting of a new home via carpet call Nunawading, we placed the order 2 months prior to installation. 48 hours before the proposed installation date we received a call that the colour we had chosen 8 weeks before would not be being produced until the end of the month & they stated if another colour was chosen the carpet would be installed on the installation date. Another colour was duly chosen, however carpet call was then unable to install it on the proposed date, they them proposed another date nearly a fortnight later. As we were due to move the day after the initial installation date we had to cancel movers at our own expense, not to mention the inconvenience. When the installation did occur the rooms had been measured incorrectly & not enough carpet was supplied which meant the carpet layer having to come back on another day to complete the job. The carpet itself now installed is lovely. The customer service however was apalling.

Carpet Call have saved us 3 times. Each time has been due to flooding. The latest flood took out our entire house! We've sold the house and are moving in 3wks!!!! Carpet Call to the rescue! They scheduled us in for the day before we move (in case of any more flooding), the service was impeccable, friendly, empathetic, reassuring, confident. We got good carpet at the right price. You get what you pay for and all their carpet comes with a decent warranty. I can't recommend this company highly enough!
