This is one of the best Japanese "Space" ever! Their food is delicious, cheap, big serving and fast! If you are hungry, go Don Don and you can have your food 5 seconds after you place your order. If you are not rich, you can even share the big dish with your mates. Their service is great. They never forget to greet every customers and smile even when they are extremely busy. They should have more branches opened in every corner of Melbourne. They are the reason why Melbourne is a great multicultural melting pot.

Though not a "fast food" place you will definitely receive your food faster than if you were at Maccas or anywhere else, you will never wait for longer than one minute to receive your order. More importantly the food is good quality. I come here once in a while for lunch when I'm working and it is a huge plus that I don't have to spend a good chunk of my break waiting for the food.

Don Don is a great place. The service is quick, the meals are great value for money and the food is delicious! The Teriyaki Don (chicken) is my favourite. If you're up that end of the woods, definitely check it out, but keep in mind that (from my knowledge) it's only open for lunch.

I always come here for a quick lunch, always ordering the same thing, the infamous, Don don bento box. Very generous portion, and I absolutely love the sukiyaki beef. They even serve a nice salad with fresh fruits as well. Its definitely good value for your money. Fast service too!

If you want fast service this is the place to go. You are often served your food within seconds of ordering and before you can hand over your money. Extremely consistent and good quality. A small menu but top notch. I like the teriyaki don (chicken)

You are in and out the door of Don Don within 2 minutes usually. They have the most incredible food production line I have ever seen - particularly impressive given the food is prepared fresh and constantly through the city lunch hours. There are only 6 or 8 key dishes, from sushi & rice through to curries & a Don Don box, and all are tasty, fresh & consistent in quality. The Sushi Don is delicious and they are very generous with sushi quantities.
