We had to get an electrician to fix a minor, but fairly urgent repair on a light fitting. Mike was not only prompt (he came within the hour!) but he was friendly, reasonably priced and professional. We will definitely use his services again.

Hook Up has excellent service and great fishing products sold to fisherman by fisherman. You are not bombarded by pushy sales people as you walk in the door. Good old fashioned friendly service and expert advice.

If you have children aged 6 months to 6 years then this is the place for you. The Knox Toy Library is as it suggests, a library for toys. It has a good variety of children's toys and saves you spending money on toys that the kids may only be interested in for a matter of weeks, or sometimes not at all!
One child may borrow up to 4 Toys for to 2 weeks.

This is one of my favourite restaurants. If you love seafood you have to try it. The Crayfish and Moreton Bay Bugs are fantastic and the service is top notch, but don't expect a cheap meal - seafood comes with a bigger price tag. The quality of the food here is exceptional and it's great for a special occasion. We always go here for birthdays and anniversaries.
They usually have good deals like the 2 course Crayfish meal and a 3 course set lunch or dinner.

Switch is a great restaurant. It's menu covers a wide range of tastes. I have been there a few times and have enjoyed my meal every time. This restaurant really caters for the family, which I really like. It has baby change facilities and high chairs if needed. It's also a fairly noisy restaurant, which is good if you have vocal kids!

I really cant fault this place. I take my car here to be serviced every 6 months and have done for the past 7 years. The service is the best I have seen anywhere (a big call I know!) The staff are always polite and knowledgeable. I am advised before the service of what the costs will be. They always ask me if I need a lift and will take you where you need to go in their courtesy car. My car always arrives back to me vacuumed (it used to be washed but not anymore due to water restrictions) and I always get a follow up phone call to make sure I am happy with the service. They really dont leave a stone unturned.

Planet Play is a good play centre for the kids. The price is about average for these places. The play area for kids above 3 is fantastic. It has a huge slide and a great multilevel play area. The area for kids under 2 is probably a bit small, but overall it's a great place to takethe kids for a play.

Get Fresh have a large range of fruit and vegetables at reasonable prices, but I think the best bit is the price of their bread and milk. It is significantly cheaper than the supermarkets and helps to save a bit more money on the weekly shopping bill.

I went here on the recommendation of a few friends and I was not disappointed. This is a really nice Thai restaurant. Prices are fairly run of the mill for Thai. I had the Gang Massaman curry which was delicious. I have had take away from here a fea times too and it has been just as good every time.

We thought we'd give these guys a try after we got a pamphlet in the mail. These Pizza's are great! The bases are on the thinner side, which I prefer and they are crispy and not too oily. I have to say that it is probably the best take away Pizza that I have had - I know it's a big call, but this pizza is THAT good.
