I developed a phobia with dentists as my previous experiences were traumatic. Since I met Dr Castro my perception has changed. I am no longer scared of making dental appointments. Dr Castro has been my dentist for over 20 years. I never had any problem with her work. She has a gentle touch and she always provide extra quality service. Her staff are always polite and friendly. Bobby the practice manager is always cheerful and accommodating. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Castro to anybody.

Bobby who works reception was really nice, we got to know a little about each other when I was making an appointment. It is nice in such a fast paced online world! When I arrived, he greeted me and we talked a little bit before I went in to see Dr. Castro. She was a pleasure to be around, made you feel comfortable and explained the process that she was doing. I only got a splint made but I felt really good when I left the office. When I returned to pick up my splint, had another lovely interaction with Bobby and Dr. Castro brought me in to make sure my splint would fit properly. Being an overseas visitor with no insurance, it's important to be happy with the service and value you are receiving. I also visited another dentist prior for teeth cleaning and it was horrible, I wish I had found this establishment before-hand. I highly recommend a visit, you won't regret it!

After looking for several dentists online i stumbled across Vogue Smiles, it was the cheapest I could find and decided to give it a shot. After talking to Bobby (The practice manager who was an absolute star), we booked an appointment in. The appointment got delayed a few times but that was to be expected, a small business like this has limited flexibility when the dentist herself is sick).

On the day of my appointment, i met Bobby upon my arrival and he was no less welcoming than he was on the phone, he made me feel welcomed and i waited for my turn.. Now i would like to mention that most places i have been to, most doctors/dentists seldom keep their promised appointed time to you, however Dr Castro wasted no time in giving me my consultation when it was time to. Prompt and professional she did a brilliant job and so did Bobby. I would recommend this business to anyone.

Dr castro is a good dentist and bobby provides an amazing cust service. But unfortunately i dont feel really comfortable with the smell of the foyer. Feel a bit distressed.

I have always felt uncomfortable with the look and fixture of my teeth. However the idea of having my teeth redesigned was still very nerve racking. While I researched the different companies available, the unbelievable service and experience online reviewers and friends seemed to share, it became an easy choice to go with Vogues Smiles. From the minute I walked in, Bobby my first point of contact was incredibly friendly and helpful. I felt constantly cared for by my specialist, Dr. Castro as well as her assistant, Marlene. I highly recommend this to anyone. If ever I needed any more work done, I know who I am going to call!

I've been a patient of Dr Castro since 2001. Due to extreme anxiety I can only visit a dentist when something is broken and love that Dr Castro doesn't berate me for not going more often (just a mention that she hopes I will visit earlier). Dr Castro is a lovely person, warm and engaging, as well as a professional and skilled dentist. I feel that Dr Castro genuinely cares and has an artist's approach to crafting a fine artwork. Also, very reasonably priced and you get to chat with the wonderful Bobby when you enter the relaxed waiting area.

For the first time EVER today Helen was able to walk freely into a dentist office without major fear & streaming tears.
The whole team at Vogue Smiles Melbourne go to extremes to insure Helen feels safe & comfortable during the whole process. I wish there were enough words to express my thanks to Dr.Castro and her team.
I now know why Dr.Castro has won dentist of the year so many times not only is she GREAT at her job but she is patient, caring, compassionate & most importantly understanding about dental fears and phobia's.

Most people have a fear of dentists but when you have a PHOBIA of dentists it can effect your whole life in ways most people don't understand. My personal experience with dentists started when I was 12 & witnessed my younger brother being injured by a dentist to the point he had to have 7 stitches across his face, as you can imagine I NEVER wanted to sit in a dentist chair in fear that it could happen to me. Due to a small bus accident I suffered mouth/teeth injuries but I could not make myself face a dentist, even the thought of me sitting in a dentist chair brought me to tears & had me shaking uncontrollably to the point my GP prescribed Valium, but not even Valium could get me inside a dental surgery.
My poor oral hygiene & my phobia have left me with a mouth of missing, broken & rotten teeth. Now I'm almost 40 & constantly feel embarrassed & ashamed to the point I try not to open my mouth in front of anyone, not even my supportive, loving family.
I felt like I was ready to face my phobia & hopefully change my life. I did some research & came across Vogue Smiles Melbourne & Dr Castro's website.
