I first visited Dr Zenaidy in December 2014 after putting off a visit to the dentist in 10+ years (after having 4 wisdom teeth out in hospitable). I googled feedback on Melbourne dentists and found reviews on Dr Castro here actually, and I made the decision to go and have a check up, with no commitments to my husband who had been nagging me to go (and threatening that my head would fall off as I had a rotted moler on the bottom gum line).

The office is teeny tiny......like Dr Zenaidy but Bobby made me feel very welcome - he definitely has a very bright welcoming smile! I had 3 appointments its the doctor in December and one last week (as my scheduled check up). The office does get quite warm and stuffy - not helpful when even the thought of a dentist can make your sweat! I was upfront with Dr Zenaidy and equated my fear at being there to being worse than when I had my daughter by C section 12 months earlier - so I think that helped he realise how scared I was.

During my first visit in December I got a filling to cover the rotted tooth at the gum line which besides the anaesthetic was actually not too bad. In retrospect, it was more the smells, sounds and vibrations of the equipment that ended up being the scariest and most painful part I'm my mind. My subsequent two visits that month resulted in preventative fillings on all of my major molers and a general scale and clean - these were done without the need for any anaesthetic. Dr Zenaidy gently encouraged me to try the first without it, easing up when I gestured with my hands and I managed to do them all with very little sensitivity. I was very proud of myself and felt very thankful for Dr Zenaidy's gentle approach and soft ways.

Thankfully my check up last week was just a clean and scale - nothing else needed her attention! When I arrived both Bobby and the Dr asked after my husband and daughter (both by name) which was impressive and was a nice touch.

If you're afraid of dentists then meeting with Dr Zenaidy is a must - she is very gentle, very capable and very supportive of getting you through what feels like a terrifying experience.....I am a convert and will now be having regular check ups with Dr Zenaidy.

Great marketing enticed me to enquire about Snap On smile as an alternative to expensive and invasive dental surgery. Glad I did. The whole experience was painless and my new cheesy grin is the envy of my friends.
I was super impressed with Dr Castro's professionalism and the "The Director of First Impressions" aka Bobby.

This is a great dental practice, everyone is caring and professional and the surgery is very comfortable and immediately sets you at ease.

I would highly recommend Doctor Castro as a cosmetic dentist. I had veneers done a year ago. The practice has fantastic staff and is in a great location.

I had a set (10) of veneers done with Dr Castro. I found it a very positive experience. Bobby is always cheery, friendly, and professional, as are the dental assistants. And Dr Castro has done an AMAZING job on my teeth. She went out of her way to accommodate my schedule, and my teeth feel and look incredible.

Highly recommend Doctor Castro's office. I had a root canal, crown and 2 fillings. Process was expensive, as expected but relatively painless. The treatments I had were explained to me fully, office was clean and bobby in the front office is fantastic. Will be returning for any future work that I need.
Only very minor negative is that I found none of my appointments began on time, I waited at least 10-15 mins each time which resulted in being back to work later than expected.

Absolutely brilliant cosmetic dentist. For the first time in my life I love to smile. My confidence is back, I am so happy with the results. It was a brilliant experience, gentle, relaxed, and a transformation beyond expectations. I cannot begin to describe how happy I am with the results.

Such a positive experience from start to finish, I cannot rate the care and quality of service offered by Dr Castro and her staff highly enough. I had a serious fear of dentists until I met Dr Castro. Her patience and thoughtfulness is second to none. Enormous thanks to Bobby also, the loveliest clinic manager I have ever met.
