I was apprehensive to buy online, so I took the chance and travelled to Melbourne and discovered it was really worth the trip. Helena's customer service is excellent. Her advice and expertise are excellent. I tried on several outfits, some of my choice and some were Helena's suggestions. I purchased an outfit she recommended for me. It looks great on and is better than any outfit I could find in Sydney. My outfit needed alterations which Helena did for me and I received my outfit in the post 5 days later, excellent service. I am sure I will look nice for my daughters wedding in July. I have recommended Ever Elegant to all my friends and workmates. The quality and service is unbeatable.

I was a bit apprehensive to buy online without actually seeing the dress in real life. I am a fuller figure lady and want to look nice for my Daughters wedding in September. After spending a lot of time and energy looking around my local area without any luck I decided to take a chance. I live in NSW and unable to make a trip to Melbourne. I have never spent that sort of money on myself. Helena was so helpful with suggestions and descriptions. I received the dress and jacket in the mail yesterday and I am absolutely thrilled with fit and the lace fabric is beautiful. For me, it is worth paying for quality and service I have been given. The best range of Mother of the Bride out fits, not cheap, but excellent quality. Helena, is brilliant. She is pleasant, not at all pushing, her comments are honest and constructive, she is a perfectionest, so if your outfit doesn't quite sit right, she will fix it so it sits perfectly. Highly recommend Ever Elegant for that special occasion. I never saw outfits as good as these ones. They also do alterations of wedding dresses etc.

I selected this business on the basis of the excellent reviews posted here. I wanted a jersey knit cocktail style dress made in a similar style to one I already have, with ten weeks to go until the event. They were very uncertain about taking on the job, explaining they were not dressmakers who could work without a pattern, and did not have the time to put into the job. I really just felt as though I was imposing on them from the time of my first phone call to make an appointment. I am sure this business has many happy customers, but just to provide useful feedback if you are searching for a dressmaker, be aware you will need a pattern. I rapidly found another dressmaker a suburb away who was happy to take on the job and will have it ready for fitting in four weeks.

Imports unique designs, personal service, Helena is easy to talk with and is prepared to listen to your requirements. Any alterations arn't a problem. Found a mother of the bride dress that wasn't dowdy or colourless.

Helen and her divine assistant were amazing.. I had my first fitting when I collected my wedding gown and was told by the youg girl that I needed to lose weight or add extra panels into my gown.. I was mortified and felt ugly.. There was no way I was booking my alterations there, even though time was against me.. I found Helena and from our very first phone conversation I knew I was in the right hands. I was assured that everything could be fixed and there was nothing to worry about.. And that's exactly what happened.. I explained to Helena my tumultuous experience collecting the dress and immediately Helena and her assistant proudly stated that the dress fit perfectly and only the hem needed lifting .. They were so lovely and comforting without being smothering and false .. Thank you Helena and your staff.. You turned my frown upside down!!!!

I went to Helena after reading excellent reviews about how helpful she was. I'd bought a cheap wedding dress from ebay and it was far too long. She completely re-shaped the train and shortened the whole dress. And she did it really quickly. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
