Got potato cakes and chips for my son's party at Laser Force (gag - that place is revolting), but these were the BEST ever!!! Didn't try the fish unfortunately, but these were delicious!!!

Sorry!! Laser Force was revolting definitely NOT Fair Dinkum!!!! I go all the way from Canadian to you guys for fish and chips because they're so goo :)
Absolutely beautiful fish and chips here. The chips aren't the best I've had, but they are quite nice, not too soggy even after a car ride. The fish was amazing though. Best tasting fish I've had from a take away shop in a long time.

Decided to get fish and chips and was told to try this particular takeaway and it was exceptional and will be going there again The cost was pretty good and the quality was very good and very tasty

We tried this Fish n' Chip shop purely on the recommendations that we read on this website from others but we were a tad disappointed as our battered fish & potato cakes were very wet with oil. Far too greasy for our liking. We thought maybe they weren't drained properly ?? ... and on that note we 'might' try again if they are not so oiling next time as the potato cakes were not not thick with batter & otherwise would have tasted great. The fish was very tasty. The smallest dim sim I'd ever seen but may have been a reject ?? ... We thought the Value Packs are Fantastic value$$ ... & there are more choices here than any regular fish n' chip shop : )

To give you an idea on how seriously Michael, Maxine, and thier staff take quality, they recently refused to serve flake, as the fish thier supplier gave them were below Fair Dinkum's standard. They would cook it if you begged, but suggested you didn't. They kept it off the menu untill supplies were back up to thier standard. The reality is, sometimes, something will not be quite right, and humans make mistakes, but Fair Dinkum will NEVER get narky with you if you point out to them that something is not up to scratch. They will immediatly look into why, and how to prevent it happening again. Great store, as always!

Friendly staff. Great Value for money, with an extensive menu. It is a family run business and they do the most they can to ensure all customers have a great experience.

they provide good generous portions of fish & chips, 1 orde 4 potato cakes i get 5, well cooked,no complaints as yet. I have not been for a while, i'll have to go back soon.
