been here a few times now and alway get a bargin on food here and the hamburgers are great as well from here nice neat clean shop with very friendly staff and fast as well loved my burger and wife loved her fish so 2 happy customers great fish and chip shop

We have had fish and chips from Fair Dinkum several times and they are the best we've tried in Ballarat. The potato cakes are delicious. Consistent quality and prompt, friendly service.
Great place for a souvlaki, nicely marinated chicken , fresh salad (You actually watch the person cutting up the tomato). Best hang over cure at $7 which is cheaper than most fish and chip shop souvlaki places. I nice and clean store, staff friendly. Get your food and take a short drive and eat it at Wendouree Lake!

Have tried many of the fish and chip shops around town and Nicky's was by far the best. Chips were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside - just the way they should be!
