i overpaid by about $10 by the phone, they sent a cheque for the overpayment about 1 month later.

Quite a large increase in monthly premium despite having no accidents at all.
A rude person did not give a damn about the fact that I was thinking of leaving and basically said "Go elsewhere if you want"

from the call centre staff, to the counter staff at my local branch at Shellharbour, I 've never experienced such fantastic and united customer service. Nothing is a problem, their service is speedy and their value is fantastic. They even offered to finalise my car registration for me when I went and got a greenslip from them so I didn't need to do it myself - they go beyond they call of duty!

I received an increase in my premium and I thought okay here we go gotta wait 1 hr to speak to someone overseas but it was quite different took 1 second and actually spoke to someone in melbourne which was such a surprise they saw that I have been with the company for a while apologised put down the premium and also added on more cover for the old price superb customer service!

Had insurance with GIO for many years. I did change insurers for one reason and that was that I could get my insurance cheaper elsewhere. Otherwise there were no problems with them or any dealings I had with them.

Had a run in with them and had to get the ombudsman involved and yes they were in the wrong. Will not insure with them ever again....................................................... ever!

I have a GIO home and content insurance for my residential and investment property. The price is fair to say not too expensive and gives options of cover, which differentiate it from other competitors.

I have had my home contents, Vehicle and Green Slip with GIO for some years now and am very happy with the service I receive. I have recommended them to friends. I pay by the month, which is never a problem and is more convenient for me. I have had to make some claims on my policy when somone ran into my car and it was really easy, all done over the phone and was not a problem. The staff are all friendly and helpful.

the experience was very fast on sign up.the service was very polite & the staff knew what they were selling.when you left there shop you knew what you had payed for & if you had any qeustions they would help

After just doing the ring around to all the different insurance companys out there. I just took up my insurance with GIO they were the most friendlest and the cheapest I found.
