They are a cut price airline and its shows... have improved with intro of seat allocations and some linknig to Qantas FF ... but the cutoffs and conditions are restrictive and they are just a bit of a pain really - Virgin much better...

Not as good as Virgin but reasonable experience. I am not sure if I would fly with them overseas you always here about their flights being delayed for days and no help from Qantas staff.

You get what you pay for - no frills. The flight was fine, service was minimal. Staff were polite but not chatty or overly happy for that matter. I don't like that they only fly to brisbane early in the morning and late at night. Not good when travelling with young children.

The airline staff were very friendly and helpful. I think that early boarding for people with small kids may have been nice though as I felt that I was getting in the way of people getting on the plane while getting my 3 boys settled (yes crazy lady flying alone with 3 kids - one under 2 on my lap)! The terminal got very crowded as two flights were delayed including ours but were delayed by around 10min and communicated well. Parking at Avalon great too where else can you park 150m from the door and leave it there for a week (and for far less than parking at tulla too. Flights were super cheap (sale).

Approximate cost: $300

Check in staff were helpful and the flight was on time. In flight service was ok and food and drinks were reasonably priced. Very cheap airfare so very good value for money and reliable to get there. i would definatley recommend them.

Approximate cost: $600

My experience was great! Who said low cost airfares were all bad? Jetstar is great. The flight attendants were all very nice and helped me out with my every needs. The value was amazing. However a few complimentary snacks could be useful...

I agree, all they give is complimentary water.

Jetstar is good for a low cast airline, dont expect any extras unless you want to pay for them, but on the whole good service. The check in time was good and although its at avalon airfield still easy and convenient to get to.

I think Jetstar is a great airline and i have never experienced any problems with their service. I have flown to Perth and back twice now with Jetstar and both times have been comfortable trips. Be sure to bring money for snacks on the plane, they don't come complementary.

I've flown Jetstar numerous times now and although it doesn't show the same sophisticated look at an airline like Qantas, it still arrives at the same destination. Prices are cheaper which is a huge bonus and the staff are still as friendly as ever. Let's fly Jetstar!

it goes to show that no one is loyal to an airline and all we like are the cheapest we can get....it doesn't matter that 99% of their flights are delayed by at least an hour and that if you are a 2 mins late to check in they make you pay for another seat! i think i would rater spend a bit more to fly quality in the future (especially domestic)
