Flown a couple of times with kids, and they always seem to delay/re-schedule early evening flights.

In future will never book/fly late evening flights, as you always get home to late..

Cheap budget airline. Great for domestic flights. But not so good on long overseas trips. Having done Hawaii, Phuket and Ho Chi Minh with Jetstar probably wouldn't use them again Internationally. But on a quick trip to Gold Coast they are great.

Really good, service is average, but for the fares you can't complain. We were a few minutes late to board at 5:30am in Sydney for our 6am flight, but had already done the web check in to try to avoid these sorts of problems. They didn't seem to even notice.

After booking an "luxury indulgence getaway" imagine my surprise by the horror that followed! The hotel room was awful, dirty, tiny, tv was 600 years old, airconditioning broke! The flights were terrible, both times the flights boarded after their departure time, making us an hour late there, and an hour late back. The staff looked tired and worn out, no one smiled, the service was dreary.

Very good low price could not beat. Great service, comfy seats, the plane was not delayed and was on time. Overall a great experience would definately fly with Jetstar again!

this is my favorite airline, the service is excellent and there planes are also the best flying, extremely passenger comfort only had one bad experience but cant be helped

I have travelled once with Jetstar and found them to be satisfactory, I was impressed on the quality of the plane as in leather seats but the staff seemed unhappy to be there and quite abrupt, not making the flight pleasurable.

They are a low price airline with equally low level service - inconvenient destinations like avalon in melbourne... Too many rules an regulations and no flexibility ... difficult to deal with

Booked online, paid $111 melb to brisbane. I flew out of Avalon airport in melbourne, which is under construction in middle of nowhere and consists of a one or to buildings in the middle of a paddock, which worked out the ok when you consider how major airport traffic can be. This airport is only used by jetstar and so it only has two boarding gates. Check in was quick, but the staff seemed unhappy to be there. The plane wasn't very spacious. We arrived in Brisbane 20 minutes late. Overall the flight was conducted professionally but recorded messages were overused, considering that the flight attendants had access to a pa. There is a hand held video entertainment system, but you have to pay just to have a look at it. It was ok overall

On our most recent, and last flight with Jetstar, we were delayed by 6 hours, with no compensation, or real apologies - not even a free drink while we waited. On a previous flight, we were 5 minutes late for checkin due to an accident on the freeway, and they cancelled our ticket with no refund. Their service compensation levels are so biased towards them - they can make you wait as long as they like, and it's bad luck to you, but if you are 1 minute late - it's bad luck again and you lose everything. Will never fly with them again.
