After taking back my bought as new with warranty Ford Escape, it is back in again for the fifth time for the same warranty repair and still no word if it’s been fixed. It’s been with them for over two weeks this fifth time and they have provided no indication if the warranty issue has been fixed or will ever be fixed. I adore my car and used to feel so proud to drive it, but now it feels like a massive disappointment. Sorry to have no other choice but to say ‘Absolutely’ do not buy a car with John Hughes warranty.

What a unprofessional service centre,
My Kia Sportage still with them over a week for minor repair!! They still don’t know what is wrong with the car! Lied about they’ve been working with Kia Australia but they are not

I have had my 2 previous Jeep’s serviced at JH and was always happy so had no issues with taking the ranger there, what a mistake.
When enquiring about booking a service I asked if new map updates were available I was advised they were so booked the service.
When picking car up advised no updates available.
On way home checked the tyre evic and noticed the tyre pressures were still incorrect, hadn’t bothered pumping up as that is part of the service, as was a tyre rotation that also wasn’t done, but according to the service report they could tell my brake wear without removing the wheels.
This made me look a bit closer and when I removed the air filter the housing had rubbish in the bottom and the filter was dusty.
Engine oil was clean.
Filled out there survey noting the above and was advised someone from management would be in touch, 3 weeks later I’m still waiting.
Sorry John Hughes but you have lost my business and I will save the 100+ km round trip for servicing.

Had my car serviced today apart from charging me $30 for a $3 brake light globe the fluid were all low ( which they state had been filled ) car apparently was washed and vacuumed but was full of sand and had bird poop on it. I don’t believe they even serviced it

John Hughes has been the biggest let down amongst my car purchasing experience. Staff didn't care about there service let alone the car that broke down twice after one week of purchasing it.

Avoid at all costs. Substandard work all around from this dealer. Rude and condescending service staff and dealer principle. Accessories purchased through dealer with my new vehicle were installed incorrectly and they have a ‘close enough is good enough’ attitude towards repairs. Car has been to the service centre 6 times with issues all related to the way they installed accessories or should I say half installed. Never again.

The mechanics were great, the service advisor was dreadful. After being told the service would take :"a couple of hours", I was still there five hours later. Not once did anyone come up to me and apologise, explain or anything. I had to find her twice to ask what was going on. All I got was "I will let you know when its ready". Five hours without being acknowledged is appalling.

Terrible customer service. Booked for a service of my Hyundai. Stated at the time of booking that I needed a new key. Was told someone would ring me back to confirm availability and quote a price. Rearranged my roster and kids daycare drop offs around service booking. No phone call received. Followed up prior to the booked service and they could see the note that I was supposed to receive a call but no one had followed up. Unable to speak to someone in service centre and told I would be called back that morning. No phone call received. Had to cancel service as no point bringing the car in if I would have to bring it back another time for a key. Rang Osborne Park Hyundai service centre and booked and confirmed in a single phone call.

The customer service people I spoke to sounded busy and very disinterested. Will not use John Hughes again.

Never again John Hughes , brought a second hand ford ranger with extended warranty and what a waste of time and money, had to take my car to east vic park service centre for a service to keep the warranty and have never heard so much bs in my life, had a couple of issues with the car, air con not working, water leaking in through the interior light, covered under warranty not, firstly service cost $675, then get a phone call to say that only some of the issues are covered but can fix the rest at a huge cost, re gas $250, a further 250 plus labour for the light thats not covered, are no mate. went to my local re gas guy $130 for the same job. shame on you John Hughes , I will never buy a car from your company ever again. yours truly. Ladies be aware!!! Check your tyres before handing over your keys!
I recently took my ford focus for a service. I was told the cost was $380. When I left the bill was $1700!!! I wash my car regularly, pump my tyres, never noticed anything wrong with my tyres, at only 30 000kms I wasn't expecting to replace them anytime soon. Suddenly after an hour in the workshop all four (good year) tyres showed sign of rubber deterioration due to age, all on the inside & and all on the bottom. The dealership strongly suggested that I needed to replace all 4 tyres immediately. I was distraught at the unexpected cost and safety hazard . The dealer also conveniently offers finance for unexpected costs. I had borrow money from partner. The day after this horrible experience I have the distinct feeling I've been had. I wish I had taken photos of the 'spontaneous damage' to my tyres. I was wondering if others experienced something similar?
