First new car service.

After booking on line, we were disappointed to arrive and find no notice of our appointment? We were informed this method does cause problems! After the service, no log book got stamped and no reminder sticker on the windscreen for the next service. For a big company with a fine reputation to maintain, we were a little disappointed with our first visit with our new car.

Exstreemly poor service centre

I would not recommend this business ever to anyone John Hughes Service people lie to you they blame their service technicians for loss of paper work and charge you extra if you take it back to correct the an issue it was already on for which should be done at NO COST very angry if my car needs a jeep dealer again for specialized attention will find another dealer definitely not John Hughes I should be refunded for the second lot of money paid.
My family have been buying cars from John Hughes for years and my Dad new him on a personal level SALES Department EXCELLENT
SERVICE Deparment WORST EVER and don’t really care don’t let you know how car is going no phone calls and full of excuses

took my car to the Welshpool service centre, what a joke, left with a list of quotes for work that allegedly needs doing but they didn't do, and didn't contact me to ask if I wanted done (while they had the vehicle) failed to do the wash and Valette they "claimed to have done on the invoice" they even charged me to put a "New battery in the remote" apparently it needed one?? it was working fine when I dropped the vehicle off that morning??
would not buy a second hand watch from this place HUGE Disappointment for the second and last time.

I value customer service and that is what you get from Patrick at John Hughes in East Vic Park. Honest, transparent and customer service driven, I have always found Patrick to be upfront, understanding and reliable. The team at John Hughes should be proud of the extra mile they go to to make their customers happy. I would highly recommend them to anyone, and I do!

I just had my car serviced at John Hughes, and my service advisor was Ramon Mangilaya, he was extremely polite, and informed on what needs to be done to my car on my next service, which I found very helpful. With staff like Ramon, and the happy smiling lass on reception. Having said all that, I can feel that my car is running better.

After waiting 13 months for my $70k Chrysler , it’s service department are an absolute joke !!
25000 kms service later and they still won’t change an air filter even though it’s dirty , the oil flush and conditioner is extra although I have capped service and 3 months into driving the car it started to misfire , they told me it needs a software update to rectify any future issues but not covered under warranty !!
They wrote on the service report they rotated the tyres yet I have lock nuts fitted - nothing was rotated as I had the lock key .
I’ve sent a written complaint but nobody seems interested in addressing any of these issues !!
Will never go back again , absolute rip off , poor customer service and they lie straight to your face !!!

John hughes really needs to take a long hard look at what is going on at his service centre. My car was booked in for 8am, my daughter dropped it off for me. She waited for the car to be serviced for 10am pick up and was told it would not be ready until approx 2pm because a part need replacing and that would be another $300 dollars. She had appointments so had to get a taxi to the city and a taxi to her next appointment She called them at 2.30 and they said it would be later again for pick up. She called about 4pm and they said they had to keep the car over night because they found another part needs replacing and more dollars. I called to ask why these parts had not been replaced when I purchased the car 9 months ago. They said they could not find the mechanic but they would get him to call me back. I never received a call. The car was picked up late yesterday when they finished it. An extra $400 on top of the service price. No explanations given, just "well that's what happens with cars"
The gear stick lights are not working now so I called the service centre and they can't look at until next week. They had every excuse under the sun why I wasn't able to take it in now. Very disappointed with whole experience, especially adding on top of the price all the taxi and Uber fares. My daughter was only here for a few days from Melbourne and most her time was dealing with the car situation.

Bought a new VW Polo last year and generally happy with the car. Started having a few weird electrical problems since last Xmas. Normally go to Eurocare in Burswood, but had to go to a Dealer for a warranty concern. Wrote a detailed letter explaining the problems. On picking the vehicle up, I was treated as an Idiot and/or a Liar. The vehicle passed all their tests and that meant there could not possibly be a problem. I was charged over $500 for the 15k service done same day, only to find that the spare tyre pressure had not been checked - this was picked up by the RAC man who came out to replace the battery at my request [battery is under the spare tire]. 40psi when the tyre should have been reinflated to 60psi had it been checked. In summary, expect shit service and gouging.

I have always gone to John Hughes Service department since purchasing my car in 2016 and have always been happy with the service. I made a huge mistake of taking my car to another VW service provider closer to home. After my terrible experience at the other service provider, I will definitely never make the same mistake again! I cannot recommend John Hughes VW service department highly enough! From the receptionist's to the courtesy bus driver and most of all Denise Smith (Service Advisor)... these people are the best! All are professional, helpful and friendly. I have to make a special mention in particular to Denise... she went above and beyond and I am very grateful! Thank you John Hughes VW Service department! It is a wonderful feeling to have you taking care of my VW Beetle (my pride and joy). To John Hughes... you should be very proud of this team, they are a credit to your business!

After taking back my bought as new with warranty Ford Escape, it is back in again for the fifth time for the same warranty repair and still no word if it’s been fixed. It’s been with them for over two weeks this fifth time and they have provided no indication if the warranty issue has been fixed or will ever be fixed. I adore my car and used to feel so proud to drive it, but now it feels like a massive disappointment. Sorry to have no other choice but to say ‘Absolutely’ do not buy a car with John Hughes warranty.
