i loved this place! set out as a buffet style, all the meals offered are vegetarian and at the end you pay what you feel it was worth. really friendly staff and plentiful food and large option to choose from considering all meals are vegetarian. great place!

The food is always wholesome and plentiful and the range of food, from dinner to dessert, cakes and drinks, is suprising given the nature of the restaurant. The fact that you pay what you feel it is worth means that it is as good or bad value as you make it.

A great concept - pay what you feel and the money all goes to a good cause.
The food is vegetarian with a few vegan choices (buffet).
The staff are volunteers and all friendly.
This place would be good for a casual meal, with a charitable slant.

very friendly staff. makes you feel like you are part of a community. the food is nice for vegetarian food. you pay what you feel which is very nice because if i am very happy with the experience i will pay more. it is very hard to get a table there sometimes. i really enjoy the days they have a buffet style meal.

Approximate cost: $pay as ypu feel

Lentil as Anything is a fantastic concept, where you choose how much you pay for your meal. The food is fantastic and I enjoy the atmosphere. I think the staff are lovely and it is certainly a concept that should be more widely availiable!

We go here for breakfast. Most of the other Lentil as anything stores don't serve breakfast so we head here on special days for brekkie. They are open every day of the year which is also terrific. Their service is pretty poor as I don't think the staff are trained in any way. I generally like the eggs and they are innovative with what they serve with it. I love the setting and the coffee is good. A worthwhile visit if you can take the poor service and somewhat grungy surroundings.

Approximate cost: $whatever u want to pay

Love the concept, but things have gone downhill since our previous visits. Everything is a bit grimy and for first timers, its not clear how the concept works (i.e. pay what you think the meal is worth, helping out of work people etc etc). A shame, as the nearby cafe was packed, and Lentil as Anything was much quieter. Service used to be fun and funky, on our visit was poor, given the low numbers of diners. I love this place, so was disappointed with my most recent visit.

Approximate cost: $what you wish

I visited this place on the weekend and the other raters are all right - it's excellent. They were serving a buffet so you just grab a plate and help yourself to a fairly limited selection of rice, pasta, and vegetarian sauces (inc dahl baht). It looked very basic but was delicious - on a cold day, it was exactly what we were after. Then, you just pay whatever you think its worth. You know any profits go to a good cause so you feel good about paying too.

Excellent menu with Morrocan, Sri Lankan and Indian influences. Set inside a converted convent the vegetarian food is superb and the atmosphere is vibrant
