I would like to commend the McDowall Vet Practice for being a most compassionate and caring team of vets and veterinary nurses. They took our little pet through from a tiny little pup to her eventual final days at the age of 12. Every time they were welcoming, showed genuine warmth and love for her. In her last few days the empathy and care they showed our family of 5 adults, crying and despairing whilst me made a very difficult decision was amazing.
Thank you for doing what you do SO well and being their for Meggie.

I can not sing their praises enough_ counter staff,vets...all amazing,caring,professional and compassionate. A special shout-out for Dr.Rob Heath for sensitivity[I was a blubbering mess] and his gentle manner. The staff @ McDowall Veterinary Practice won our trust. Even though we had a huge unexpected expense ,these guys only charged relatively basic costs,I am so impressed. Even the animals aren't scared when they go there! Howzat! [though Wilson does protest at his cat cage,and the car ride!]

Thanks to all the great staff at McDowall Vet who have been involved with the care of our Staffy, Ruby. She had some complex health issues recently, and Rob explained our options very thoroughly. Ruby still gets excited when she goes in to the clinic, & I really appreciate everyone's care.

Everyone at McDowall Veterinary Practice has gone out of their way to look after us and, more importantly, our dog Ziggi and he has certainly presented some challenges over the past few years. Whenever we are there, we feel like their most important customers. They are patient, interested, caring, responsive and professional. Very lucky and very pleased to have them close by.

I have been taking my two canine kids to Rob & Tara for just over a year now, after 6 months of stressful and costly dealings with a previous vet and absolutely no answers to show for it.

I was determined to find a new vet, and rang McDowall vets and spoke with Rob about bringing my dogs and their previous test results to their practice, they pinpointed the health issues within the first consult, and I finally had some answers. From the very first phone call, Rob and Tara and the team at McDowall have been very supportive, understanding and always make the time to sit down and discuss results and options with me.

Everyone at the practice is exceptional both on a professional and personal level. Myself and my canines will be forever grateful to everyone at McDowall vets for this past year, and for the years to come.

Rob and the team at McDowall Veterinary Practice have been our friends for some years now. We have two 12-year-old Burmese cats. Monty has renal failure and has needed a lot of special care, we thought we would loose him but thanks to Rob and his passion for his job, Monty has been given an extended life. All Vets at this practice are equally great, and we can whole heartily recommend the team at McDowall Veterinary Practice they are all exceptionally devoted to their clients (Pets and Owners) and go beyond just being Vets.

All of the staff at McDowall Vet have been wonderful to us. Their diagnosis is always spot on, Rob picked up a tumor in my dog that another vet had missed, all of the staff were very compassionate when we lost her.

It has been unfortunate that my new puppy has hip dysplasia, but I can't say enough for the way everyone has been. Rob explained everything thoroughly to us and listened to any questions we had for him in regards to her surgery. Tara called us as soon as her surgery was finished to let us know how she was doing and was there when we picked her up to go through all of the post surgery treatment. They are happy for you to ring if you have any concerns about your pet.

We are absolutely over the moon with our dogs progress, you would never know that she has had anything wrong with her hip, I am so happy that I found this vet and feel at ease when my dogs are in their care.

For many years now we have always taken our dogs to the McDowall Vet Practice. We have always been very impressed by the time, dilgence and care taken by all the staff when treating our three dogs. There have been times when I've needed an appointment at short notice and I've always been seen and the follow up care is second to none. We whole heartly recommend this professional and lovely Vet Practice.

All the staff at McDowall Veterinary Practice are lovely and caring of my two Miniature Schnauzers. My female dog is now almost 16 years old while my boy is almost 12. Rob and his team have looked after both my dogs for most of their lives and now that my dogs are geriactrics they continue to provide as always the gentle care that has kept me coming for all these years.
