We had three blokes from Metromovers move heavy furniture, lots of boxes and awkward items from two locations into our newly built house.
They were friendly, helpful and efficient and made this difficult experience a bit easier.
Last time we moved we did it ourselves and it nearly drove me crazy, this costs a bit but is well worth it!

My husband and I looked at many removalist companies and we chose Metromovers due to the following reasons: All the office staff that I spoke to were very consistent in all the information that they gave me and were very patient in assuring me of their great service. I booked Metromovers based on this confidence. I am pleased to say that the team that arrived on the day were great and made our moving experience very pleasant. I have since recommended a friend who was as happy as we were with Metromovers. I can now safely recommend this removalist company.

Most impressed with the movers. The men were all polite and well trained and it was obvious that they all enjoy their job. It made the move a very good experience for my husband and I as we have an elderly parent living with us and the men were very kind and gentle with her. Our home was moved quickly and without a single hitch. Our sincere thanks to Richard, Matthew and Steven for all their hard work and happy faces! and to Ray and the other ladies at the office who were very patient and understanding with my many many questions before our move.

Removal of contents from a 3 bedroom unit and self storage facility to a house with steep elevation and difficult access. The boys did an amazing job; fast, friendly, and not a scratch to be seen!

MetroMovers moved my family locally. We wanted to help with the process but as we were going from a single story to a double story house, we really just wanted the use of their truck and the extra muscle to help with the big furniture. These guys were awesome. 2 young fit guys with brains were so fast we were running to keep up with them. They were happy for us to help with all the work in turn cutting back on the per hour cost and the overall job totalled alot less than I expected because they were so efficient. Their equipment and trucks were high quality and they provided free plasma boxes, portarobes and mattress protectors on the day.
From the back end the booking and confirmation process was fast and easy and all staff we spoke with were very friendly and customer service focussed. I would highly recommend MetroMovers

Packing house com\ntent, moving from Doncaster to Ringwood, unpacked nexr day. NO hassle, all completed as promised. No breakages, no damaged goods. Very happy

I could not speak more highly of the Metromovers team with Jo in Admin and our 2 removalists being Jinder and Matt. We had some really heavy furniture so a 3rd man was on the job but he was sent home after 30 minutes as they did not require him. Jinder and Matt were polite, effcient and professional and clearly knew what they were doing. They had our home in Hawthorn packed up and relocated to a large shed just out of Ballarat in 8.25 hours. Absolutely fantastic. We were stressed to the max as we had not moved for 12 years and we had heard so many horror stories but Metromovers put our minds at ease and we could not speak more highly of them. We will definitely use them again.

Update 6-2: Just recently the Cusomer Service Manager from this business contacted me to follow up on my moving experience. Based on our discussion, the company apologised and refunded a significant portion of the fee I initially paid. Clearly this company takes its cutomer service very seriously and do the utmost to ensure customers are satisfied. The follow up and subsequent action makes me think the experience I had is the exception rather than the rule.

I booked MetroMovers to move move all of our packed belongings and furniture from our 2 bedroom apartment in South Yarra to our new apartment, also in South Yarra. Our new place Body Corporate rules require moving in slots to be booked, and so we had booked the 9:00am-12:30pm slot. Due to this constraint I had booked the removalists to arrive at our old place between 6:30am and 7:00am; they arrived over an hour late; just before 8am. They were incredibly slow, my partner and I ended up helping a lot and it took over 5 hours to load all of our belongings into their truck. This resulted in us missing our booking at the new place. The body corporate at the new place gave us some leeway as long as we were finished by 3pm. I rang MetroMovers and explained the situation and they sent out another crew (which they tried to get us to pay for) and they unloaded the truck in just over an hour. We have moved the same amount of belongings 3 times in the last 4 years and it has preiviously taken no more than 4 hours in total. As the moving fees are charged on an hourly basis it was also hideously expensive - over $1200 when in the past it's been no more than $400. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.

House move. Guys turned up on time, were polite, obliging and took great care of our furniture: particularly a large glass display cabinet. All furniture was wrapped to prevent damage.
Office staff also very helpful. Highly recommend the guys and company.

We were very impressed with the level of service we received from both Richard and Trevor. They were both punctual, professional and demonstrated great care in ensuring that we were satisfied with the move. The level of customer service we received exceeded our expectations and as such we have recommended Metro Movers to our friends who are in the process of moving house.
