They rubber stamp no for cancellation flight claim. If flight cancelled due to engineering issues, your not covered and stuck

My sons Jetsar flight was cancelled, no alternative options were given for him to get home from the Gold Coast so we booked and paid to put him on a Qantas flight same day. My claim has been denied because apparently the Insurance I took out to cover me for a cancelled flight does not cover you when your flight is cancelled due to "Engineering Requirements". A CANCELLED FLIGHT IS A CANCELLED FLIGHT NO MATTER WHAT THE REASON! Never again!

No stars if I could. Terrible service, cover and policy. My family and I have been with them for more than 10 years, and when i finally I need hostipalisation following an accidental injury they refuse to cover in the "accidental injury benefit" due to technicalities in the clause. Boo. F@ck you NIB. You've lost my business.

Totally unprofessional. Went to buy a pair of glasses this morning and when the card was checked by the sales person they found that it was invalid. I contacted NIB who said that new cards were issued in May 2021 and I reminded them that I had only joined NIB in June 2021 and why was old cards sent to me. I was told that I must have made some change to my policy again reminded them that this was the first time I was using their services and I had never contacted them since I joined them in June 2021 always paid the premium on time by Bank direct debit. Once I use the services I will be voting with my feet, best to avoid this mob, they are only after the money. There are so many other good funds.

Sudden price increase for overseas health cover which we never use.

I had a travel policy with nib and because what’s happening around the world I had to cancel it and claim a refund ,it was the best and easiest thing I ever had to do polite,fast,caring,and those involved were amazing and the results was so quick have my business for ever just a amazing company to deal with

I was with NIB Insurance for a number of years before joining another insurance company for medical expenses related to fertility. Whilst with NIB Insurance I found the cover to provide very high refunds. I had quite alot of dental work done and NIB proved one the best health insurance providers out there. I would still be with them today until my wife and I required fertility help meaning we had to look for the best deal. NIB was close but it was not quite the best hence our reason for switching. Had it not been for this one element in the very top cover we would have kept with NIB. It's an excellent company and I would recommend checking them out. The customer service help is also worth a mention, I always got my questions answered and they are willing to negotiate fees.

Been with NIB Health Insurance for more than 6 years. U really need to call them once a while and squeeze them if they keep increasing your private health funds costs.

I've been to always NIB Dental and their dentists are professional. Service is good too. Remember to do your booking twice every year for dental check up. They have good range of claims for extras. I claimed for my dental, optical and even health lifestyle fitness. :D

Signed up for extras cover and was blatantly lied to. Was told I would be covered for things I wasn't with waiting periods waived as I had a special deal through my place of work. When I went to claim I was rejected and when I questioned this the consultant was super rude and didn't show any compassion or willingness to listen
