It had been some time since we tried Oscars and thought we would pick up a couple of pizzas. We were very happy with our Texan Chicken, Hot & Spicy and Supreme Pizzas, nicely furnished with some very tasty fresh ingredients, not overdone, just write. Certainly satisfied our visiting guests. We also enjoyed a couple of serves of the crusty garlic bread, they were still crusty when we arrived home. We enjoyed a glass of wine and some very nice pizza and garlic bread at home. Service was swift and staff very pleasant. We shall return and dine in next time.

This is an amazing restaurant. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxing and includes some alfresco dining. The service is friendly and efficient. The food is outstanding (with many vegetarian choices) and at very reasonable prices. I love their trio of dips and Thai pizza. Always return regularly and looking forward to sampling more items on their fantastic well-priced menu.
Though their desserts are delicious they would be enhanced with the addition of gelati.

Just keep on trucking.
No changes to this one and it's still one of the best in the region.
This place generally always comes to mind when we want a quick platter that's good

I was a bit apprehensive when a friend invited me to lunch here since I'd read mixed reviews. We were greeted and seated promptly with a lovely view of the gardens. The variety on the menu for food and drinks would please everyone. I chose a small Mediterranean pizza and when it came it had a generous amount of topping and was really tasty. Who can go past a sticky date pudding with butterscotch sauce, cream and ice cream for desert? Not me! The staff were really friendly and helpful and so my whole experience at Oscars was very pleasant and positive.

I thought I would treat my family so we decided to dine here and enjoy our surrounds and have a few pizzas, it took forever before we were served and our pizzas were nothing special, not alot of toppings, just average. Staff were slow with our pizzas and it wasn't even busy. There are many of great establishments in McLaren Vale which we will be going to in future. Basically, a disappointing dinner for the family.

Very nice. The setting was good, the service was adequate and the food was ok. We got the tasting plate that day and it came with a whole bunch of stuff that was quite regular, but did the job. As it's in the wine region, there was plenty of wine to choose from.
Go and have a look. It's a good choice while you're in the area.

We enjoyed a nice lunch here. Pizza for my wife and I had an entree of Pasta. The entree was a huge size (we had been warned) and more than ample for a meal. Nice setting in a well presented old house. Had the sparkling shiraz with the meal and followed by very nice coffee. One of the best we have had for awhile. Look forward to returning.

My husband and I recently had lunch at Oscars to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We shared the trio of dips for an entree, which was so yummy that I was left wanting more. For main course I had the lasagne which was delicious, whilst my husband enjoyed the Penne. Another lovely touch is that they have many of the local wines on their wine list.

We have been to this restaurant several times and will return. It is a lovely place - fantastic atmosphere, helpful staff and marvellous food, especially the trio of dips and pizza.

The staff were very friendly and the meal delicious. I ordered a main and desert for under $30. I had a Spag Bog, it was a large serving and was delicious!
