Do not use this company for plumbing they are overcharging on quotes for work that they charge for is not in proportion of the work or time it takes to do the job, regarding if parts are required or not.
They work on fixed prices for each service they offer, not an hourly rate.
The serviceman man was at my place for less than 45 minutes and it cost me $800.00.

Quoted $5450 for work that wasn’t needed. $1850 for new hot water system and told I needed a switchboard upgrade for $3600 as the RCDs were illegal. I did some research and found switchboards are $800-1300- nowhere near $3600. An independent plumber quoted $900 for HWS but said I didn’t really need one-mine was ok. Then an independent electrician came out and said my switchboard was legal. I didn’t need a new one. He fixed the only problem I had for $155. Both tradies asked of it was Pascoes who’d done the quote. I’m so relieved I shopped around!

PLEASE BEWARE AND DO NOT USE. MONEY UP FRONT SCAMMERS THAT HIT YOU AFTER FOR EXTRA COSTS. They came out on the old 'free quote' trick. Quoted a 'burst pipe package' of $990 and told us that's the drive-away no more to pay job price. Insisted on full payment in advance and booked the job. Supervisor then turns up before the job is commenced and starts writing up another invoice for $$$$$ EXTRA dollars (all the while trying the full on car salesman pitch for re-routing our entire pipe network) even though the original 'package' never mentioned any extras. When he was questioned on the original invoice job description he started to backtrack and stated he would need to speak with the boss. After the employee writing up the original quote called back and intimated he got side tracked and didn't explain the 'hidden extras' scam when he quoted the job, his 'boss' would only agree to returning $700. They refused to negotiate any further about the amount and kept $290. He said the return would be sorted in minutes but then they dragged their heels. They took the money within seconds mind you! Just wish now we read their reviews before using them. Never again and will warn others not to use. They are not interested in small jobs and use the foot in the door to scam you into a massive job. It's basically cost us $290 to have this experience.

Steer clear. Nearly scammed out of $3000. Rcd switch tripping. Told me my power board was illegal and dangerous and i would need a whole new board. The person was at my home for 5 minutes and didn't come inside or do any checks. Initially i was going to have the work done as i dont know anything about switch boards. Thankfully got a second opinion and only required a power point replacement. Oh and my board was legal and not dangerous.

Under no circumstances can I recommend this buisiness. I just called them to get an outdoor light fitted on my 10 year old home. The first electrician arrived & took a look around. He said the meterbox required urgent attention, my smoke alarms were out of date & the earth stick was corroded. I was told that we needed a full safety package, a full switchboard upgrade, 2 new smoke alarms & earth stake. At this stage I was pretty concerned that my home was unsafe, the tech started to talk price, that nearly knocked me over, then the discounting started, pay upfront it will be cheaper, pay in full it will be less & so on. I finally agreed to a price stupidly trusting that the work had to be done & that the pricing was competitive. A few hours later two new techs arrived to do the work. Two & a half hours later it was all done. That was the quickest $3995 that I had ever spent. Never ever let these guys near your house, they will coerce you & then bleed you dry. Their sales technique is based on fear & urgency. They are effectively looking for unsolicited repairs & will lead you into believing, given the gravity of the situation, you are getting a good deal. SCAM SCAM SCAMMERS.
Say no, send them away and get another quote it will potentially save you thousands.

I recently called Pascoes to investigate an RCD tripping when it rained. They sent around a guy who told me that it would cost me $4000 for them to investigate. $1800 to check all the wiring and $2200 to replace some circuit breakers with RCDS because since January 2019 it was now illegal for them to do any work if the RCDs needed adding to the circuit board. I already have 3 RCDs on the board and according to the Safety Law I only have to do anything if I'm selling the house. The RCDs themselves cost $30 from Bunnings so I presume Pascoes charge you $700 for replacing each one. The job itself takes 30 minutes for each RCD I've been told. When I queried the fact that it was very expensive he told me that it was my safety at stake. I've managed to find the cause of the problem now. I also wonder about the positive reviews here as my experience mirrors the negatives one. I'm a pensioner so I expect they probably thought I would agree to the quote and not argue. I feel that any company that over quotes to this extent and uses scare tactics to get the business are fraudulent.

I wish that I had done my research earlier and read some reviews before I had them come around. I called out Pascoe’s to do a service on my gas heater. While he was here he said he would inspect our hot water system. The sacrificial anode was needing replacing and recommended that we needed a whole new hot water system. I was planning on replacing the hot water system anyway, however he quoted $5000 for a new continuous flow hot water system. My wife and I were sitting there with a glass of wine when he came in the evening and kind of caught us off guard. While he was sitting there he cheekily said can he grab a glass of wine as well, kind of put us on the spot but we gave him one. He Was on his iPad and asked for some of our details, then proceeded to sign us up for and interest free deal without really explaining what he was doing for the $5000 hot water system. Before we knew what he was out the door. I called him a short time later to say we will not go ahead with it as we received an email to confirm our interest free finance and we had not confirmed with him that we wanted to go ahead . I contacted the company that was doing the interest free to advise that we had not authorised this and was able to cancel the application as we had not put the application through, the agent did supposably on our behalf. Very very dodgy doing that on our behalf without explaining properly what he was doing. The manager called me the next day and made out like we were letting go of an amazing deal. I told him absolutely positively no do not want to go ahead and that was the end of it. We ended up getting the hot water system done elsewhere for $1800 for exactly the same system that he quoted us. Massive massive rip off merchants. I have read many reviews and even heard a couple of other stories through people I know about Pascoe‘s.

O stars given. After waiting all day with water pooling onto a bedroom wardrobe carpet. They Charged a large amount for 1.5 hours work and the issue was not even fixed. Had to pay another plumber who fixed straight away at a fraction of the original cost. Very poor customer service have reported to consumer affairs as tried to recoup some monies back and they refused

Approximate cost: $880
