Great Mexican food and big portion size. Love it that they have vegan options too, so there is a choice for everyone in the family. We usually order online for pick up and although this place is crazy busy, the food has always been ready on time.

Some real Mexican food and not too greasy or oily like some of the tex-mex places. Generous servings as well, so you get value for money.

Went past here once when they had a mariachi band, but on the day we went back there was no band. I think only special days, but worth asking about.

Filling meals. Friendly service. We enjoy the uniqueness of this restaurant. The breakfast is worth coming for. Outside can be a bit warm in summer but overall a worthwhile restaurant to visit.

Approximate cost: $30

This place can sometimes be a bit of a mixed bag when it comes to service, but the food is always pretty darn good. The prices are about on par with the standard for a sit-down Mexican restaurant meal, but the servings are well and truly generously portioned. Make sure you go there hungry, or you might find yourself asking for a doggie-bag! In addition to the food, they keep a fairly well-stocked bar (though the fancier tequila varieties are not always available), and you can pick up a jug of marguerita or strawberry dacqueri for around $30. Overall, not a bad place to go if you're in the mood for a filling Mexican meal.

Great food and the lime margaritas are worth a go! The jalapeno poppers are fantastic if you like it spicy and they have a huge range of take-home chilli sauces to choose from. The parking is a little confusing, there is a dedicated carpark out the back but you have to drive in under the shopping centre to get to it. Service is definitely high standard too.

I was taken back at how quickly we were tended to from the get go, most awesome in such a busy place to be noticed immediately, seated, drinks and BAM, taking our order to being served both without feeling like we just a number.

The atmosphere, from the front, it looks like there is only seating for two tables, quite deceiving, it goes around the the side and around the bend, heating if needed, not too crampy, authentic music to get you in the mood.

Large choice of beers and cocktails, detailed so there was no guessing.

Servings seemed small, but WOW, they were filling, so glad we skipped an entree, hubby had the nachos, I couldn`t resist the chimichanga. Awesome real meat beef, plenty of guacamole and sour cream sides. Very tasty and fresh, reasonable prices, go there hungry and you will be rewarded.

Great food, excellent portions, fresh foods, true to the style of Mexican. Not the cheapest but worth the money.

Great style of interior.

At last great Mexican food. It is a little more expensive than other Mexican restaurants but the portion sizes are huge and ir's really fresh ingedients. I had to take nearly half of mine home (I love leftovers). Definitely worth eating at. I had the Chimichanga (I like the name) and it was overflowing with food. The sizzling Fajitas looked good too!

Approximate cost: $15 - $27

The drinks list is extensive - with 13 Mexican beers on the menu, and a HUGE list of boutique tequilas; as well as house wines and generic cocktails. Our drinks took a fair while to come out, by which time we had already received our entree of dips - guacamole, chilli con queso and frijole ($14.90). Compared to some Mexican that we have had in previous weeks, this was a HUGE serving of dips. I'm pretty sure we got a whole bag of corn chips on the plate, and the bowls of dip were overflowing. As we munched down on that, we watched other meals arriving and looked at each other in dismay. Nobody had told us that an entree is unnecessary when the mains are enough to feed two people!
When our mains came out, husband and I confirmed that to get through a full meal here, you have two choices: 1) fast for the 12 hours prior to your meal; or 2) smoke something [and lots of it] to otherwise induce the munchies. My beef burrito ($18.90) was the size of my face, and came smothered in fresh lettuce, homemade salsa and cheese, with rice and beans on the side. Husband's chicken fajitas ($26.90) could have easily fed the two of us. His plate of condiments was piled high with fresh vegetables, and came with a delicious salsa of tomatoes and jalapenos, as well as sour cream, guacamole etc. We each got halfway through our meals and conceded defeat - what was on our plates was clearly too much food for mere mortals like us! We went home nursing swollen bellies and a desire to return.

On the whole, value for money was excellent. The servings were generous to the point of being excessive, and all the produce was super fresh and delicious. The restaurant was practically empty when we arrived [at 6pm], and was close to flat out when we left about an hour later - reservations are definitely recommended on weekends! That said, as with most Mexican places I've been to, the service was slow, but certainly friendly. Not having been to Mexico, I can't comment on it's authenticity, but I will certainly say that it was a hell of a lot more tasty than cooking it at home ;o)

Approximate cost: $20

Loved pepes newmarket, so tried this one.... not again! Hardly any food on the plate compared with newmarket... and whilst the food is ok here, the prices are a little on the high side (only to be expected in this part of town I suppose...) Great for dining in or take away, and there is a bottle shop just next door which is perfect for byo. Plenty of off street parking as well bt i wont be back
