I had an unpleasant experience with Procycles that I would recommend avoiding. I purchased a motorcycle from them a few years ago, and during my first service, I noticed a blue biro mark on my yellow seat that was not there before. When I raised the issue, the shop denied responsibility and became personally confrontational towards me. I felt disrespected and unhappy with the way they handled the situation.
In my opinion, the management's lack of customer service skills and poor behavior towards me made the experience very negative. Although I have spent a significant amount of money at their shop, I do not plan on returning and would not recommend them to others. I believe there are better bike shops out there that provide quality service and treat their customers with respect.

Do not go here, full of misrepresentations, threats and abuse. Taking legal action against both the Company, the dealer principle and the Sales rep. Turned the thrill of buying a new expensive Bike into an utterly miserable experience. Even intentionally delayed delivery of the Bike. Rude emails, you name it. Plenty of good dealers around. They even registered my Bike as the wrong model. They refuse to answer my emails and having to take legal action against very rude and unhelpful Salesman [removed name] and Procycles which I initiated today.

The “service” centre at Procycles Hornsby run by Procycles owner Anthony Katter (nephew of Qld Bob) is anything but service.

Anthony and his dealership manager Matthew Palmer as you can see by countless other reviews on various sites regularly overcharge and under deliver. They will find as many faults as possible with your bike, most of which don’t exist in the first place, but they will call you and say your fork seals are leaking and you have other oil leaks when none existed when you dropped it off and then charge 5x the normal rate to “fix” them.

They charged me 9.3 hours labour to clean two carbs including 6 hours in a sonic bath at $120/hr. Many YouTube videos show this can be done in 15 mins in a sonic bath.

Their modus operandi is to collect your bike (seems like good service) then rack up a huge bill and find many extra faults without a courtesy call with diagnosis and estimate.
They then hold your bike ransom until you cough up the exorbitant charges.

Not to be trusted one iota.
Complete sham.

Completely incompetent and absolutely abysmal!!

I have never ever seen or experienced such a poor exhibition of workmanship, customer service and general lack of human interaction than that of the service manager and the 'team' of procycles.

Avoid at all costs or suffer the consiquences.

The problems I have encountered include but are not limited to:

-Very rude and poor customer service including personal insults.

-Being quoted $1600, being called back the next day to be informed the work is completed and the cost is now $2200 (almost 50% increase) no call for consultation before commencing extra work.

-late by 2hrs to pick up motorcycle causing me to lose additional hours of work. Was still charged full pick up fee.

-upon picking up motorcycle and riding it home. I discovered a significant oil leak.

-when procycles came to pick the bike up to repair oil leak. The motorcycle was dropped and almost dropped a second time and caused additional damage.

-Argued with me stating that not all the damage done to the bike was a result of the drop.
They did eventually agree to fix all damages as they did not exist prior to the drop.

-after work was completed, refused to deliver the bike back to me.

-After talking with fair trading procycles require me to sign a waiver regarding the mechanical and aesthetic repairs before thet will bro g the bike back. I can sign saying I am happy with the aesthetic repair but I am not qualified to say that the mechanical work is sound.
How can I sign this document?
What is to happen if I sign, receive the bike back only to find another oil leak or something similar.
This would leave procycles unliable, which again is not right.

The bike is still not in my possession to which the pink slip is running out as it currently has no rego and I am still paying insurance on a bike I am not using.

I hope all this nonsense is over soon!

All I wanted was a new rear tyre for my Suzuki Boulevard. When I picked up the bike I notices that there were greasy hand marks on the chrome, but the tyre seemed to have beenm put on correctly. 4 days later a group went on a ride (640km) duting which time the saddlebag melted to the exhaust pipe. It appears that the saddlebag had been incorrectly replaced after the the rear tyre was put on and during the ride had slumped on to the exhaust. I was not happy!! I approached procycles and after the initial "it couldn't be us" they agreed to review the situation. They then took responsibility for the damage and are currently in the process of securing a new saddlebag. this sloppy work should not have happened, however Procycles have done the right thing.

You will get it all at this shop. Smiles, advice, and good intentions. When it comes to the workshop, you'll firstly be made to wait awhile before being given the opportunity of emptying your wallet. As per usual for any workshop (car/bike) these days, it does pay to go over the vehicle to correct anything that's not refitted correctly. But in today's world of bike shops, you'll go a long way to find worse than these guys

I was not going in to Procycles Hornsby to buy a bike that day. But ended up spending $20,000 on a new bike a gear. I was pleasantly surprised(i had heard negative things) at how professional and easy going the sales staff are compared to other dealerships i have been too. They did not pressure me into anything but seemed to guide me in the right direction. I felt comfortable the whole time i was there.
After choosing the bike i wanted, the spare parts team looked after me with all my accessories. 1st service has been done and it was very easy. I recommend Procycles to anyone.

I had procycles fitted to my BMW GS on my way from Armidale NSW to Melbourne. After 300km the front tyre leaked and I slowly made it to Melbourne. BMMotorcycles there replaced it showing a gash in the bead. The tyre was sent back to Hornsby and he thought there was nothing wrong with it. I questioned his opinion and he jumped down from his tree, not happy. He reckons that he has more experience and knowledge than all the other tyre repairers/fitters put together. I'm not joking here. After not getting anywhere I told him about youtube? Big mistake. He went ballistic, told me to get stuffed and hung up. There's a chunk out of the bead as big as your thumbnail and yet he reckons that it would not cause a leak and blamed everyone else.

i went there numourous times and the spare parts people are great i couldnt find a nicer bunch of people who tried so hard to help out a customer out only to be burned by the owner. the owner runs the workshop and as previous comments state charges to highly. a highly respected close friend of myne told me this story ---i went in their and told the spare parts guys i wanted to buy 2 new ktms and they handed all my details off etc and nothing happend, i called them back and exclaimed that i was still awaiting their call and the spare parts guys could only tell me "mate we've passed on your details, bugged them and bugged them to call you and if they are not going to call you i dont know what you can do" which wasnt the response i hoped for but i know they tried their best and did everything they could. you may say this is stupid for me to go through the spares guys to buy bikes but with the constantly changing sales staff at procycles each week i was meeting a new person to buy my 2 ktms, so the spares staff seemed the only stable people in the building so i went through them.

im a keen dirt biker and the offroad side has gone downhill since mal and tom left the spares area.

I won't use them or go near them, ripped me off on the purchase of my bike, been a customer for years, new management, didn't look after me, scratched my new bike, didn't put things back properly after service, rude rude rude!!!! Didn't want to know anything about a warranty issue (no money in it for them). They don't look after their valued customers but they are very very happy to take your money. Hate them! Won't go near them again. I have nothing kind to say about them and won't recommend them to anyone. Feel sorry for the few good guys there in spare parts! Come back please Tom Byrnes!!!!!
