This was not as good as I expected. We chose to do both the indoor and outdoor course, so the cost was pretty high for what it was (and that was using the entertainment book which gave us outdoor free for 1 person out of 2). There was not a lot of variety or novelty in the holes, we expected the indoor course to be quite different from outdoor but it was very similar just inside! Luckily we went on a fairly quiet day but we still got a bit stuck behind larger groups.

well, the courses are ok.. nothing special...maybe for Tasmania they are great.. that is Tas :-(
The biggest problem here is such a simple thing to fix....do not allow any new players start until 5 mins after the last....
I was there today...in front, right in front...a six person party...in front of them ....a six party...I mean.. slow....it takes all the pleasure away..really.
slow, drudging, all enjoyment lost...
It could be so much better with proper training for staff and a delay in starting. Think they don't care, just want the numbers in...well.. this will mean not as much return traffic, myself included....
Ohh and too expensive....nearly $30 for two...I could get a proper round of golf for $20 elsewhere... the food is rubbish also....apart from that with proper management, this could be a good thing for the deprived Tasmanians here....

This was a great way to spend a day. There are two mini golf courses, one indoors and one outside. The kids and myself and partner all had a great time. There is also a a children's playground so they can have a play before doing the next round of golf. There is also a snack bar to replenish yourself for the next challenge..Great time was had and we have been a few times and will continue to go

Approximate cost: $40 family

We recently made a trip to Putters Adventure Golf with the whole family, a 3 yr old, a 5 yr old, a 10 yr old and a 16 yr old and my husband and myself. The 3 yr old is too young still but the rest of the family enjoyed the experience. We did the indoor course which was fun and shielded us from any bad weather so it is an all weather activity, . The course was entertaining but probably a little bit dated. I thought it was really expensive as we do have a big family, but a family ticket was $40. The staff were friendly. We will definately go back but probably only as a birthday treat event, it isn't an any old day activity just for fun. But still lots of fun. Best thing was none of the kids bet me and I came a respectable second to my husband.

They have a buy one get one free voucher in the Entertainment Book which may make it more affordable for large families.

This centre is more than just mini golf. It makes for a great family outing. There are 2 courses (inside and outside). The outdoor course has a small gated playground, which makes it extra fun for the kids.

There is now also a small indoor jumping castle which you can use for a reasonable price.

Not a bad activity to kill some time. Course is a good balance, not too hard/not too easy. Unless you are a mini-golf nut one of the 18 holes courses is plenty (they have an indoor and outdoor). Outdoor is great when the weather is good. You will often find vouchers for this place and I only go when I have one (entertainment book, sometimes shopper-dockets and they have a little brochure at the tourist places - like Hobart airport which will get you two for one on 18 holes). They do have snacks there, but they look fairly uninspiring. There is tasty icecream which would makes a suitable reward for the victor however (although I loose more than win!). On a main bus route from the CBD and on the same route as Kawasemi Japanese Teahouse (about 10-15 minutes walk). They get 4 stars for service as they were more than willing to pop our wine in their fridge before we headed off to a BYO restuarant.

Approximate cost: $15

If you like mini golf, Putters is a fantastic place to entertain the kids, adults or have a children's party.

There are 2 courses to choose from - one indoors and one outdoors. The indoor course is held over 3 floors with the ball getting sucked up or pushed down to the different levels. Some holes are actually split over 2 floors.

Each hole offers something unique eg water windmills, split levels etc. The indoor course is completely indoors so you can play mini golf on a rainy day.
