I had to get my puppycat microchipped :( I don't know if the visit was more traumatic for me or my cat, but the staff were tremendous. The care they showed for my frightened cat was great. The clinic was very busy but spotlessly clean and the reception area was very well stocked with all things cat and dog!!!

My dog had an infection in his eye, so we took him to this vet. They were friendly, performed the needed opertion without any hassle. My dog was back to his normal self in less than 4 days. These people definatley know their stuff.

I had lost my dog. I rang up the main desk and asked if they had found my dog and wether i should leave my name and number if he was to turn up. All they said was no and just call up tomorrow. I then called up again. They found him but said he was a 'she'.....obviously someone is blind.

I adopted one of my babies from RSPCA in Burwood. We already had a kitty named Poos, so we got her a sister named Wees..! They were a team and they had a ball together. I want everyone to save a kitty from RSPCA to stop them being put down. The staff were super kind and friendly and the facilities were clean and comfy for the poor kitties. Save a kitty today..!

I have adopted a total of two adult dogs, one pup and two kittens from RSPCA Victoria's Burwood Shelter over the past 5 years. The service has improved a lot in the last couple of years and they now have Adoption Officer staff to help match you up to the right pet. This is great as it not only helps to educate big-hearted but uninformed people, but also means these animals are less likely to return to the shelter again as they go out and stay out.

Their new shelter facility is almost fully operational and looks like it will be a great base for the wonderful work they do supporting and caring for all the stray, surrendered and injured animals.

We were experienced dog owners with a new kitten. We foudn Kitten Kindy to be a lot of fun and our kitten is now a well socialised cat with a few cool tricks like coming when he's called, sitting when he's told and he also benefitted from the regular travel at a young age - he's a breeze to take to the vet now.

We learnt lots about the health requirements of young kittens and how to interpret their behaviour. Kitty Kinder was also really fun!

I had a cruelty case puppy that had come through the RSPCA Shelter after having been seized from it's original owner by the RSPCA Inspectors. The socialisation my pup gained in these classes was really important to her development and also helped to educate my partner and I about owning a young dog (including health requirements) and set us up with the skills needed for dog training and trouble shooting normal puppy behvaiours like mouthing, jumping and toilet training.

Really good quality service and you're supporting a good cause at the same time

Really good quality service and you're supporting a good cause at the same time

I got a second cat from the RSPCA in 2006 - my reference point is a local vet I'd used with my other cat previously. The RSPCA service was great, they provided terrific information, their prices were very low (not much more than cost recovery), and there was no cross-selling or over servicing. There was the added benefit of feeling as though you were supporting a cause - anything they make over costs will go back into the RSPCA. The $85 is the total amount I paid for the cat (including desexing and vaccination).

Approximate cost: $85

Great value for money compared to other vets in the area.

Great value for money compared to other vets in the area.

Having used various vets here, for both standard check-ups and emergency visits, I always find the service to be excellent. The Vets are top notch and I never have to wait long.
