Sunday night and there weren't many people.
It's not the place is used to be.
But then again, they certainly know how to do a blue steak.
Staff were always floating around, but don't seem to be there when you need one.
And it wasn't the cheapest meal on that end of the city

Came here for a quick meal with my partner.
Food was shocking. I've have been to quite a few vegetarian restaurant and this one is by far the worst. My steak was horrid. Dry, chewy and burnt. This is most probably the worst restaurant I have eaten so far in Adelaide.
Not coming back here again.

This seems like a very strange review - Firstly, you mentioned you "have been to quite a few Vegetarian Restaurants and this one is the worst" - But you ordered steak? So are they a vegetarian restaurant that offers steak? Or are they not actually vegetarian?
I guess if they are a vegetarian place - I probably wouldn't expect the best quality steak!

Sorry I missed a word, worst vegetarian friendly place ever.. Super unhealthy but I guess if you don't mind the extra fat its fine. Heard they even deep fry their chips in animal fat!!

Sounds like a restaurant to avoid.

Favourite of mine since my 20s been going here dont frequent it that much these days because its not really a plus 40s venue. Always clean and nice decor. Drinks are resonably priced. The food is always nice. This is another one for the youngys for a friday and saturday night music and nightclub scene. All in all great place

Nice place for a good meal. Wasn't cheap but the value was there. Beers were bait expensive that end of town. Service was a bit slow bit that was ok. Enjoyed the experience

Quite average. Not my favourite place but if my friends go here then I'd like to tag along. The service is quite poor to average, food isn't that great.

It does boasts "Adelaide's worst vegetarian restaurant" so we were warned. The steak was cooked to perfection and was tender and tasty. The steak sandwich was large and the burger huge. Came with chips only - veg or salad were extra. Our vegetarian had steamed veg (small amount of broccoli and zucchini) for over $6. Two shandies cost $12. We will not return.

Approximate cost: $30

Service is average, venue is great with different comfy areas to sit and the food is usually good. Last time we were there we had the ribs - close to the worst I've ever had. Not sticky, not meaty and very expensive. Many of the other meals are great though.

We used the Entertainment Book voucher for 25% off total bill. The menu says 'Serious About Meat', and yes, they are! Steaks, burgers and chicken parmigiana are all winners, as you would expect from a pub-style restaurant! Great atmosphere! Time dinner, so you can stroll along Rundle Street afterwards.

Approximate cost: $19-$45

Have had dinner here a few times and the steaks are always good. I haven't been back since they took out the fine dining area so im not sure what the service is like now but it used to be fairly good.
