I love this pub. Only problem is there never seems to be enough space!! The food is ok, little on the pricey side. We always have fun when we go.

One of my Newtown faves for a nice quiet beverage. The Courthouse caters perfectly to the hipster/alt population of Newtown. Great outdoor area, gets really busy, so get in early for a table. The food is good solid pub food, reasonable price.

Great atmosphere, service is usually quite good. The food isn't too bad, good steak and chips lunch speacial for $10! Huge outdoor area, reaaaaaally hard to find a table on busy nights, so find a table first, before you order food or drinks. Security guards wander around regularly which is good, and there's another bar outside as well for convenience. One of my favourite places to have a cold beer and lunch during the day or night.

This is a great pub, just opposite Camperdown park. It has a wonderful courtyard with extensive seating. The atmosphere is relaxing and laid back and they have classic food like chips, steaks and salads. Great place to go if you have kids, though it can get packed sometimes.

Usually very busy very packed, but thats because it has a great atmosphere really open air, old style pub. It has an amazing array of old pinball machines and furniture, a eating beer garden area, and great old bar and lovely courtyard out the back. Very friendly staff. excellent value and fantastic pub.

the atmosphere is wonderful here. although its often completely packed its very laidback. could do with better music and more dance space but has good pool and great wedges
