My favourite place to dine in Hahndorf! The food is consistently tasty and have generous serving sizes. Highly recommended!

We went to The Haus for my mums birthday, great for a function. The pizzas are delicious and the staff are really friendly and helpful. Recommend it.

A wonderful place to enjoy a meal in Hahndorf. We decided to try a pizza and some German beer, they went very well together. The staff were great, very attentive, fabulous atmosphere and very generous portions.

What a good place for lunch. Staff are happy and friendly, the food is good and this is somewhere lots of people frequent, so you get a good atmosphere.

Had lunch here with family and friends and found the food was fabulous, very large servings and quite filling. Great atmosphere and friendly attentive staff.

Such a massive menu, we shared some coffin bay oysters and some garlic and cheese pizza bread. The oysters were delish, so fresh and the pizza bread, so yummy. It was a great start to our lunch. My husband thorougly enjoyed his scotch fillet with mushroom sauce and others, including myself tried the proscuitto wrapped chicken and also the tandoori chicken, fabulous! You have to go here with any empty stomach, because you will certainly be filling it up!

Don't make the mistake we did of going into The Haus just to have a cup of coffee like we did late one morning. We did not want to have brekky and the withering looks we got were palpable. We were stuck at some ricketty wooden table and chairs, which I find difficult to sit in (back/leg probs) so we moved. As we moved tables the 'seating waitress' walked past and I said to my huz this chair is b****y uncomfortable. The atmosphere was decidedly cold. We eventually got our coffee, if you could call it that, because it was so strong I'm surprised our spoons did not dissolve.

Awesome food here. I have dined in here for lunch and dinner at least 5 times and I always keep going back for the food.
Quite expensive, but worth it as the food is nice.
Great atmosphere and decorating, tables are spacious and seats are comfortable. Staff are all quite good, not overly friendly but quite helpful and knowledgeable when you ask someone for help.
Wait time for food is about normal (30 mins approx. for your food to come out when you have ordered a main), I wouldn't go here if I was in a rush.
Overall I would recommend this place to anyone but I would let them know that it is a bit pricey.
The only other bit of feedback is that the newer menu (last 3 months or so) is not as good as the previous menu. Hopefully they bring the previous menu back for winter again as the food on the old menu was tastier and more classic in my opinion.

After spending the night in Hahndorf, my boyfriend and I decided to try here for breakfast. It was getting towards the end of breakfast service so was quite busy when we first walked in but soon cleared out. Staff were attentive but seemed a little hurried to get orders and move things along. Food took quite a while to come out which was a bit of a negative. I had the fruit salad topped with yoghurt. Large serve of various melons, grapes and strawberries and the yoghurt was divine. My boyfriend had a big breakfast, eggs, bacon, sausage, spinach, mushroom. He said he really enjoyed it. It was a little more on the expensive side but good quality.

Have been here a couple of times now, my most recent was when we had family visiting, they seem to love Hahndorf and fortunately it isn't a long drive from our house.

We ordered a large pizza for everyone to share as our starter and then a few of us tried their burger but my husband had to have the pork ribs. We found the servings to be very generous.

They have an extensive menu and the staff are very friendly, the service was a bit slow on our most recent visit. Would definitely recommend and will be returning for their pizzas.
