A great variety of flavours, some ridiculous (like Vegemite toast), but great tasting and a great Williamstown experience!

I love the Ice-Cream Shoppe! We've been coming here for years and the service is always lovely. They have a huge selection of flavours to choose from and plenty of indoor (perfect in Winter) and outdoor (fantastic in Summer) seating.

This place has been around forever and I still love it - so many flavours, great service, waffle cones, so much yum.

They have a huge variety of flavours and varieties to choose from! Prices were very reasonable. Customer service was amazing which is a huge plus.
Standouts were the yoghurt softserve, lavender, salted caramel and jaffa. They also have some really cool cones where the waffle cones is dipped into chocolate and sprinkled with nuts halfway down the exterior!

I've lived in Williamstown for 21 years and to anyone wanting ice-cream in Willy, I would say there are better places. Each time I have been here, its been average, nice but nothing special! My latest visit, I was waiting to be served (there was nobody else in the shop) and the two young girls working there were gossiping in the corner, completely ignoring me. I walked out without buying anything because I was outraged by the service. Great ice cream, lots of variety, but they need to step up their manners and customer service.

The queues to this place are out the door in summer. The ice creams here are very generous and yummy. The cookies and cream flavour is divine as is the ruma and raisin. The kids enjoyed bubblegum flavours and they could hardly get through the ice cream because it was so big. Which would have to be a first. Place can get a little squashy if you are sitting inside. I think it's best to get your ice cream and venture out for a walk along the pier or the park which is opposite. Overall a great experience.

Approximate cost: $varies depending in cone 3-4.50

Oh yeah, I love all those flavours too. Have you tried the peanut butter flavour? And a walk along the pier or just into the park is a good choice.

This shop is one of the "Williamstown institutions". After a nice dinner at a restaurant, a picnic on the reserve by the water, or even dinner at home, a walk to "the ice-cream shop" for a dessert treat is a Williamstown tradition. They've been here for 29 years.

They have a lot of different flavours, I'm not sure how many but a whole lot. There are normal ice-cream types such as rum and raisin, boysenberry ripple, lime, coffee etc and there are also many gelati types - pistachio, lemon, raspberry.

Some might call liquorice or peanut butter a bit odd, but they are delicious. There are normal cones, waffle cones or cups. Around $3.50 per scoop. If you've got a lot of people it can be a little pricey. I think you can also buy 1ltr tubs as well.

There are tables and chairs inside the shop and a few outside, or go for a stroll along Gem Pier which is opposite the shop and Commonwealth reserve with a playground for the young (and the young at heart) - interesting maritime artifacts like large anchors grace the front of the pathway leading in.

A pleasant way to end the day.

Approximate cost: $3.50 approx. per single scoop

I'm a big fan of this place in the summer. The ice cream is excellent and the service is pretty good. Great location, awesome flavours, win-win for everyone!

For ice cream lovers it is a must visit. Although it is winter but I will definitely go there more frequently as the summer approaches. Good variety and great taste

First the delicious smell as you walk in the door... mmm... then the range to choose from, gelato and ice-cream made on the premises. Apparently they won gold medals at the show and a heap of silvers too but all I can say is there is not a bad thing to say about my ice cream experience I wish I lived closer so I could visit more often (also they now make waffles on sticks for something warm for winter thou I didn't get to try one).

Approximate cost: $4-5
